Better Weave Poles for Easier Training

weave poles

Easily used indoors or outdoors - train in all weather!

With the fixed base, you can bring training indoors in bad weather. It is also more suitable for areas that don't have consistent grass coverage - such as desert regions. Lastly, the fixed position means you will never have to measure to ensure equal distance is between the weave poles. They really are the best choice!

dog weave poles

A challenging obstacle for intelligent dogs

A bored dog can be a destructive dog. The weave poles are a physical and mental work out for your dog. Practicing agility training together will lead to a more fulfilling life & a closer bond between you and your dog.

weave poles

Easy to separate for 2X2 training

One of the most challenging agility obstacles for dogs and trainers is often the weave poles. The fixed base design allows you the option to train weave poles using the "2X2" method. This method is beneficial for teaching your dog to learn the weave poles independently - without looking to you to lure them through each time.

10' Long Tunnel & Sandbags

10" long tunnel

The best size for use at home

At a length of 10 feet long, the Better Sporting Dogs tunnel is a great length for indoor and outdoor use. It isn't too long for indoor use, yet it is still long enough to form the "U-shaped" bend that you will frequently see in an agility course. The 24 inch diameter is the standard diameter of competition-grade agility courses, and it suitable for most dog breeds.

bent tunnel

By utilizing the sand bags on either end of our agility tunnel, you will no longer need to worry about metal stakes. The metal stakes can always get lost or rust. In addition, there is the potential that the metal stakes could come loose and cause injury to your dog's feet or legs as they run through the tunnel. Using sandbags is a safe and secure method of keeping your tunnel in place.

sandbags

Supported by two set of sandbags

Tunnels are generally considered to be a safe & fun obstacle for dogs of any age - from puppies to senior dog! However, it is important to use sandbags to help secure the secure from rolling around while the dog is inside. This helps dogs overcome any fears that they might have

Standard Jump + Tire Jump

bar jump

Use Your Way

The Adjustable Bar Jump can be used two ways: Secure the bar in to the jump clip provided, or place the bar in to the area on top of the bracket so it falls away if your dog hits it during the jump. No matter which set-up is your preference, you can use this bar jump both ways.

tire jump

Indoor & Outdoor Use

The tire jump has a fixed base so it can be used on any surface - indoor or outdoors. You will be able to practice agility with your dog no matter what the weather has in store! In addition, it is fully adjustable by sliding the brackets up and down the upright poles. Dogs that are just starting out have the option to let the tire jump increase in height as their confidence increases.

This is a great product for starting agility training. It is customizable, easy to set up and adjust, easy to store with the bags it comes with, and well made/high quality.

Assembling and dissembling is easy. Stands up to bumps and wind but also will break apart when a dog gets tangled. This is a good thing as it won't hurt the dogs.

I bought the better dog agility set to practice with my dogs when we aren’t in class. It was a good investment without spending a lot of money. With the bigger dogs, the equipment does tend to break apart easier which is good in the sense that they don’t get stuck in the equipment but bad because a larger dog will have a tendency to break apart the equipment when they’re going through the weave poles for instance. But all in all I’m very happy with the product. It’s great to keep up your practice or to start out with agility with your dogs . Although I do wish there were a place to get the end caps because I have had the end caps fall off so slightly sturdier would be better.

Easy to move and set up/take down. Bought this for my dog business as a starter and so far the dogs enjoy it. It’s holding up just fine for now. The tunnel’s sandbags are super quick and easy to set up and they keep the tunnel from moving, mostly. Good set for the money. It’s got what you need to start up your agility.

As someone who trained my previous dog in agility and has volunteered for AKC and NADAC agility trials, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the obstacles, the ease of set up, and the ease of storing them. A few end caps were missing from my shipment, so I contacted the company. They sent the end caps almost immediately. So I think it is good quality for the price, good consumer service, and I recommend this set of obstacles to anyone who wants to practice agility at home.

Our 5 month old puppy loves it !The bad: Setup is a tad confusing and not packaged in any order. The good: Instructions are well done. Comes with everything you need to train a young or starter dog. Items seem reletively durable. Pretty decent value overall.

Bought this course for my 20 lb terrier mix who is pretty familiar with the equipment from dog parks. While the weaving poles are giving him some trouble, he's doing a lot better on other parts that usually cause him problems (he hates the 4 ft tunnel at the park, but this one is no big deal). We even managed to set it up inside the living room (a little cramped, but it still fit)! When we tried it with my 10 yr old 80 lb lab who //is// a beginner, it was still workable. With the exception of the tunnel, she caught on to the concept of the course quickly enough. It was more that she wasn't interested in doing anything "hard", so the hurdle and hoop had to be set at "walk over/through" level. She could also make it through the tunnel if you left a trail of treats, but otherwise she'd just walk around to where you were, lol. Finally, my niece and nephew loved this thing. My niece (8) had fun helping me set it up and convincing the dogs to try it at first, but then both her and my nephew (6) just lounged in the tunnel for a while. They really enjoyed removing the sandbags and rolling it around on the floor, so at least we're getting multiple uses out of it.My only critique of the product is that the tunnel is a little tricky to wrap up-- it's very springy and took two people to put away (one to hold both sides, one to velcro). Not much of a complaint, really, but a little awkward. The little black pegs that go on the ends are ridiculously difficult to put on and take off, but I think that's the point, because you don't want them to come off. Everything else is pretty straightforward and stable, so I'm really excited!
