Product Description

16 ft tunnel

A great size for use at home

At a length of 16 feet long, the Better Sporting Dogs tunnel is a great length for indoor and outdoor use. It isn't too long for indoor use, and it is long enough to form the "U-shaped" bend that you will frequently see in an agility course. The 24 inch diameter is the standard diameter of competition-grade agility courses, and it suitable for most dog breeds.

Great for all dogs

One of the best features of an agility tunnel is that it is able to be used by so many different dogs. Large or small, young or old. The agility tunnel is safe for young dogs whose joints are not fully developed, and for elderly dogs that may have problems with mobility. Tunnels do not have the same impact on joints that jumps or weave poles have. Of course, healthy, athletic adults also have a blast with the tunnel! It is a favorite obstacle for many dogs.

sandbags

Supported by two set of sandbags

Tunnels are generally considered to be a safe & fun obstacle for dogs of any age - from puppies to senior dog! However, it is important to use sandbags to help secure the secure from rolling around while the dog is inside. This helps dogs overcome any fears that they might have

We have 2 dogs ourselves, but also do daycare and boarding for our town. All the dogs love the tunnel. It is in the yard at all times and is not weighed down. They run through, jump over it, pounce on top of it, and play fight in it. I think we have had it through all the seasons now and it's starting to get some minor holes. The puppy has chewed off 2 of the 4 straps to roll it back up with. I think it has done very well for durability with how many different dogs of different sizes have been playing with it. We plan to get another one when this one is too holey to be used safely. It's a great size. Because it's so big maybe a little more difficult to clean with soap but a good pray out does decent enough. For how long its held up through all the nonsense I'd say it's worth the money. I don't think anyone has ever gotten hurt by it, so it's pretty safe. It's super duper fun!

This is very big for indoors, outdoors works just fine. I am training my dachshund, short haired to go through the tunnel. She is a miniature and loves it! The quality is well. Had it for months now, no problems. It is very sturdy when using sand bags. Definitely is very flexible like in the pics. But if you have to use indoors, make sure you have room. This thing is big and will take up small homes. Nice to have a carrying bag. Definitely recommend!

My doggo is enrolled in agility training lessons, but I wanted something to practice with in the yard. I didn't want to spend a ton of money, though, because the real deal equipment is pretty pricey. This tunnel is a great, less expensive option. First, the length is perfect. You want a tunnel long enough so you can have a turn in the middle where they can't see you at the other end. BUT, if you want something a bit shorter like you would if you were just starting training, this tunnel can't be "shrunk" to another length by pulling it in. It's wired like a spring so that it fully extends. It comes with sandbags for each end, which is also a nice feature because you don't want the tunnel to roll or move when the dog is in it. A dog who gets spooked won't try it again so it's worth the extra assurance that the tunnel will stay put. The materials is OK, but it's definitely not regulation weight. I'm using it on grass, so I'm hoping that it will have some durability, but the verdict is still out. It's easy to pull the tunnel back together and there are velcro straps to keep it secure. Just slip it in the carry bag and it's good to go everywhere. Light enough to carry, too. I really like it.

I am a sitter for a family with 2 Malinois, and an Australian Kelpie. I'm older and love them dearly but it is a 24 hrs a day job keeping them stimulated. I bought them the tunnel so they could learn a new skill, stay focused and have fun without me being involved in the running, catching, throwing,etc..The owner says they LOVE IT!

Yard hippos like to go under and through things like plants, newly planted trees, outdoor daybed cushions...To give them a direct means to play in a tunnel we purchased this.Great length, easy to pop up, storage bag a plus. The fabric is not sturdy, even with sand bags it will roll about. This is a toy you must supervise play and put it away when not in use.

This is not a competition quality agility tunnel, but it does what it's suppopsed to do - provide tunnel practice and fun for my sheltie. The nylon fabric is light weight and the tunnel collapes and ties back up easily and also easily fits into the zippered nylon case. I haven't filled the saddle bags yet, but that looks like it will be pretty easy. I collapse the tunnel at the end of every day and bring it inside. That should make it last a long time.

My dog (a Texas Heeler) has a blast with this tunnel, she loves doing all agility type activities, our Blue Tick Coon Hound...not so much...lol, she act like she wants to ge through it but just won’t do it, but it does look like she would fit through it. I haven’t had it very long so I only gave it 4 stars on durability, it seems to be good quality material so I’m thinking it will hold up for some time but with our heeler tearing through it while in a dead run, well, we’ll just have to wait and see how it does, I’m wanting to see if her nails end up going through it or not, but so far so good. Right now I would recommend it for other dog people who want to work with their dog on their agility skills or just for having fun. It’s super easy to set up, just undo the Velcro straps and set your sand bag pouches where you want them (I put a pretty heavy rock in each of the pouches) and you will want to use the sand pouches, if you don’t, your tunnel will roll away, even with no breeze. The tunnel and the sand pouches do come in a carry tote for easy storage, the material they used on the tote for putting the tunnel in for storage is not a quality material, it’s super thin and I’m pretty sure it’s gonna be the first thing to go (tear) and the straps for carrying it around are pretty flimsy as well. Now, with all that said, I would recommend it to others, even if the carry tote doesn’t hold up well it would still be easy to store and won’t take up much space (it has Velcro straps that are sewn onto the tunnel so you won’t lose them, just pull the straps firmly around the collapsed tunnel and stick the velcro back together and wa la, it’s ready for storage). As of right now, I think it was a great purchase and I would recommend to others. If anything comes up that makes me feel differently about this tunnel, I’ll be sure to return and update my review.
