Ended up returning this item because it didn't work with the turntable that I got for it (it's a JVC Quartzlock QL-A2, so an older model. It probably should work fine with other more modern turntables). However I tested out the bluetooth setting and everything else and it worked great! didn't expect that the two speakers needed to be connected by wires. I was hoping that they would wireless pair to each other, but that's on me for only looking at the pictures and not the actual product information. The wires made the whole setup seem very messy, but I'm sure there is a way to make it look cleaner depending on your setup.

Had a small buzz with my desktop but they were silent with my laptop and phone. Nothing too objectionable and you have to put your ear near the speaker to hear it. The bluetooth connection didn't have that issue. It could just be an issue with my desktop.The SR16 don't sound that good though, a little boxy and muffled. What you really want is the Bestisan SR02, they are incredible and not that much bigger or expensive. These appear to use 3.5 inch drivers, I didn't see that mentioned anywhere so I thought it would be good to measure it and include the pic. These don't really have any highs. When my microphone arrives I want to add some measurements to compare them to other speakers. I preferred the sound of some Bose Companion 2 Series II speakers I found in a barn my brother owned. But those are double the price of these. What you want to buy is the Bestisan SR02, I'm telling you they are truly amazing and a gem in a world of inexpensive speakers. They destroy the Bose.

Plugged them in and they sounded great - for about 10 minutes, then nothing :(Amazon worked with us to make it right.

It’s exactly how I want it. Nice sound depth and balance, the Bluetooth works flawlessly so I ordered another set so I can listen to the music in my bedroom The size is less bulky and it works nicely when plugged to the record player that comes with its own audio jacks for connecting to the rear of the SR16 speakers. I am looking forward to connecting the second set to complete the sets I have in my bedroom. Excellent sound quality as the result of this setup.
