The product comes in a drawstring bag that fits easily into a carry on. While traveling, the adapters fit snugly into the outlet, and the converter still allows devices to charge at the same speed as at home. Note that the converter can be a bit loud and will be warm to the touch, so be careful where you place it. Definitely worth the money

I have used this for almost 4 years as a daily regular converter for my laptop and router. It has worked as expected, but sometimes it was noisy. Recently I had 2 instances where I heard a pop, but it was still functioning. Last night it sounded like fireworks and it shut down, dead, but no fire or smoke smell. My laptop and router were fine when I plugged them into my travel used black BESTEK model. From what I experienced, the one that fried out protected my gear, so I'm very happy with this purchase. I wasn't too fond of the adapter plugs that come with it and I have some higher end adapter plugs I use with it. I do highly recommend this product or another BESTEK version of it.

I've used this voltage converter to charge my electric toothbrush and electronic appliances from the US (120V) here in Singapore (240V) for over a week. A green light comes on when it is running and sometimes a built-in fan in the converter runs as well. I can't tell about long-term reliability as I've only used it for a week.

Originally I ordered a travel adapter for our trip but read that I should really be carrying a Voltage Converter. Oh boy, more electronics to carry through security. Although additional moderate weight aside it actually turned out well. The unit is not that heavy and comes with a traveling bag. It takes up room but nothing that cannot be accommodated.You plug it in, turn it on and wait for the green light and then plug in all your 110V electronics that you have lugged over to Europe for no apparent reason other than you feel naked without them. There is a slight hum to the unit when it is turned on (probably the converter busy converting).It has space for 3 power cords and multiple USB connections which made powering all of my electronic anchors (which should have been left at home or permanently turned off) possible at one time.It is not attractive enough to be stolen by anyone but a Voltage Converter thief who might find the glossy white plastic housing extremely attractive, so some caution in leaving it out should be taken. You just never know when a Voltage Converter thief will strike; Better safe than sorry.It was a surprise addition to my electronic travel kit and helped me run up a $600 roaming cell phone bill relatively easily - so thanks for that.The warning about NOT plugging in hair dryers and curling irons into the converter is very clear and specific so don't think you know better. Or if you want to be a candidate for the Darwin Award sure go ahead and try it just don't say you weren't warned.A highly recommended purchase.

The products generates a lot of hiss noise in the background just like a transformer. Whenever I record a video there is a huge background hiss noise from this piece of equipment
