I’ve had had several of these inverters in work trucks and they work great. I use them for a laptop and charging Milwaukee batteries. The last one I bought stopped working after a couple months. I message the seller and they provided great customer service and sent me a new one very quickly. I highly reccomend this product, very good value, good product, and great customer service.

I purchased three of these in total to use in cars to charge laptops. I originally purchased the type that you have to attach to your car battery. It was overkill , and inconvenient for my use so decided on this one instead as it could plug directly into my cigarette lighter. I read this wattage (300) should be able to handle my laptop. It did perfectly. Several members of my family have jobs that require to be in a car and use a laptop and the laptop battery would not last long enough. What I especially like is that it also has a spot to plug in my cell phone to charge as well. Has both USB-A and USB- C. The fan is pretty quiet and overall I am very a happy. On a side note, years ago a Weatherman in Florida ( Mikes Weather Page) highly recommended to have one of these in case your electricity goes out. I purchased one and it sat in my closet for years. I finally needed it as was so glad I had purchased it.

What I liked about this product is its compact size and it very quiet. I used it on a long road trip for 2 1/2 days straight without any issues.

I bought this model after early failures of two other units with a different manufacturer that Walmart sells in store. After a while they would start to squeal (fan bearings?) and then stop working. That was frustrating. But this one has gone far beyond, still going strong and silent after many months of use. I only use it for powering a computer as a passenger in the car. Typically use it for 4 or more hours at a time on frequent long trips. Love the smaller size.

Esto funciona bien, pero no vino con el clip de la batería, lo cual es decepcionante. Sin embargo, recomendaría y compraría de nuevo.

Overall, I would recommend this charger for anyone that is looking for a more robust charger in their car to power multiple small electronics or a laptop.Pros:There are two outlets. There are two USB ports. There is a cooling fan. Read the specs on it to better understand the output potential so that you know how much energy it should produce and to what capacity it will run. For someone that has multiple devices in their car and need to be able to charge all of them. I think most people that buy this would be looking for a charger for their laptop which this can certainly do. The cord is sufficiently long as well to allow you to be able to put it in a glove compartment or other compartment and still be able to reach most ports to power it.Cons:Charging rate is slower than I would have liked. Depending on what is running on my phone (LG G6) it can only slow down the rate of discharge, but not charge it up. This has been verified when I went on a road trip running GPS (Google Maps) and music (Google Music) and started at 45% charge but ended at 21% charge at the end of my trip. The USB port state that they are rated as quick charge capable and adaptive to the devices but so far I haven't see that to be true. They see to have the same volts regardless of which cable or device. I wouldn't say that this is so much of a con to buying it and not recommending it but more so just a FYI for the potential buyers.

This is a good a fairly priced 300W unit.I like that it is plastic casing, which lends itself better for boating and camping use. No sharp edges and doesn't scratch or mark anything. It is very light and convenient for my use. I like that the cord is built in, as I would never connect this directly to a battery in my use.The voltage is reasonably close to 110VAC, and the unit provides adequate power without getting hot. The biggest load I have put on it is an air mattress pump, which is rated for 165W. The unit powers it perfectly and does not get hot at all even after 5 minutes of continuous use. There is a built in fan that runs all the time when the unit is switch on. It is quiet, but may annoy some in a very quiet environment. It is not a con for my use.The USB ports work, however, I prefer to use the OEM charging cubes for my electronics. The USB ports will work in a pinch, and means you got to pack one less thing.I would buy this again.

Got this to use in the RV while doing lots of photography. Needed to power my 17 inch Samsung i7 laptop, with a 220 watt power supply. This unit did very well while either running the laptop (batteries fully charged) or charging the batteries in the laptop (computer off). If I had run the laptop batteries down and was doing serious work editing or moving photos between drives, the inverter would cut off, and I would have to toggle the power switch on the back of the inverter to start it up again. I eventually got used to charging my laptop up fully before using it to with the inverter, and the inverter was able to keep the laptop running without a hitch. It may have been an issue with the 12 volt supply circuit. I didn't run the inverter on a known high amperage 12 volt circuit in the RV, so I am not deducting a star for that. There is a quiet fan that is always on when the switch in the back is turned on. It is quiet enough that I was easily able to sleep with the fan running in very quiet campsites. The volume and pitch of the fan are unobtrusive. As others have noted, the USB ports are always powered if the inverter is plugged into the 12 volt supply, independent of the position of the power switch on the back. I like this very much, since I can charge my iPhone or Kindle with the fan turned off if I am not using the 110 volt section.A really excellent value!

Works as advertised. At $25 dollars it's prices at about 1/3 the price of a comparable one from Canadian tire. I've owned many inverters as I work out of my car and need them to charge my laptop and cell phones. I've spent anywhere from $60 to $150 and they have all lasted around the same amount of time, which is 2 to 3 years before they start having some sort of problems. This is the smallest I've every had. It been able to charge my phone and laptop at the same time, and around the same speed as the more expensive ones. The only draw back that I've seen is the more expensive ones have an automatic fan that will turn on only when the inverter needs it to cool off. This ones fan spins no stop. So it will drain your battery if you leave it plugged in with the car off. The good news is that there is a power switch on the back to turn the inverter on and off so you don't have to constantly plug it in and out. That is a feature that even some of the more expenses didn't have.So far I can't find anything wrong with it. It works as advertised. If it last 2 to 3 years like the others, it is well worth the price. Guess if I had one complain it is that because it is so small, the plugs are really close together. Not an issue with regular plugs, but if using a larger plug, it may block both outlets plus the USB. I also think it would have been better had they placed the USB beside each other instead of opposite sides, but that is just nit picking.
