Timeless. Rafi has been entertaining children forever, and kids STILL love him after all these years. This CD has all you will need to keep your baby happy. And you won't mind hearing it repeatedly. Baby Beluga has to be their favorite, but they even love all the rest.

Call me old school, but I love a good 'ole CD for the car. Since I try to leave the house with my toddler almost every day in the car to go to the library, run errands, etc, having music that he can enjoy is a must. He LOVES Raffi! Raffi has such enjoyable songs that adults will not tire of them and you and your toddler will soon know all of the words. This CD has created quite the bonding experience for my little guy and I, and Raffi is a life-saver if he ever gets fussy in the car. Thanks Raffi!

My kids grew up listening to Raffi as toddlers on a cassette tape (OMG!) and on vinyl (not sure where the album is?) and my baby granddaughter is rocking out now at 10 months old to Raffi's greatest hits! I just bought the CD to play at my home when she comes over (2-3 days a week) and she never bores of hearing her music at Nana's house! Baby Beluga and Shake My Sillys Out stop her in her tracks regardless of what she is doing at the moment, and she just ROCKS out! It's hysterical and an absolute joy to watch her enjoying all the songs.I highly recommend Best of Raffi! I think every parent (and grandparent) should have this among their music library for their toddlers. The only warning I have: Beware--you will soon learn all the lyrics and find yourself humming them at the most ridiculous times... even when the baby isn't with you! Ugh.

My husband listened to Raffi on cassette tapes when he was little and the songs have been favourites in his family for singing to little ones. So naturally we had to find a CD for our little one and this one has all the best songs! Our little boy loves it. I can't tell you how many times Raffi has miraculously calmed our little one in the car when he is having a meltdown. I don't think we would have made it through our road trip without this dude's music and for adults its not too bad to listen to either. Our little one is starting to say words and sing songs and he will often sing little bits of songs from this CD. Love the CD cover art as well!

Baby Beluga is one of the best little kids songs... we even got a board book to go with it. This is the main reason we bought the CD.Other good songs to sing along to include Banana phone (so silly), Down by the Bay, and Mr Sun.Other songs are great to dance to like Let's Play and Day O.Other songs that are good just to listen to or for bedtime are Everything Grows, Owl Singalong, and Thanks A Lot.I do not like the Love Bug song even though the music is great and very catchy - I just don't like the lyrics of having a bug inside is where hugs come from... I think people have to choose to love others.I also do not like the regular fare songs which have been done better elsewhere like Wheels on the Bus etc. Even if Raffi originated those songs (which I really would not know) so many people have them out there and I would have preferred something else.Also, for those who are religious, there are a couple songs in where the lyrics seems to be thanking nature instead of the God who created nature. I still think those songs can be used to thank the creator with small changes in our focus - the spirit of thankfulness is rather touching and lovely... something we all need to foster.Overall, I am surprised which songs made the best CD. We are happy with the purchase, but expected more sing a long type songs for toddlers. So we need to pick up the songs for the very young by Raffi instead. However, we do not regret buying this CD since we loved so many of the songs, esp Baby Beluga.
