I bought this from a company that I read a lot of reviews on that came highly rated. I have used it on at least four different sizes weights and types of kayaks. It works on all of them. I have had this cart for a year and a few months. I read a lot of negative reviews where people say the axis spent. Well they’re light white aluminum and if they take any kind of a jolt, anything can happen. Some people can tear up an anvil!I however, Took the time to call the company and they sent me out two new axles immediately no questions asked. They were easily replaced, and I went on my merry way since then I have had a further issue with the crossmember on the axle just as of two days ago.And once again contacted the company, not expecting to get the service that I did being that the age of the product I purchased was over a year ago.To my surprise, I received an email within six hours of sending them an inquiry letter and sending them pictures of the problem. They informed me that the cart is a much improved product Over the one I purchased 14 months ago and they offered to replace the entire unit at no charge to me.There is no company that I have dealt with in 10 years that has been this reliable and concerned with excellent customer service.I will continue to recommend this to anyone that’s looking for a good product that works and is backed by a guaranteeThank you again best Marine

Cart works great. It’s easy to put together and light enough to go with me on the kayak when I fish. Would have been nice if the cart had built in loops for the straps. They just go through wherever and it can be a pain to bend down and feed them to other side under boat. other than that great purchase.

this cart is made of sturdy materials with modular assembly that should allow me to store in the hatch of my yak. I have and Old Town sportsman 106. Keeping deck space clear for other options and equipment was important to me. fit well between the bunks with no sliding in spite of uneven terrain. easily transported on grass, sidewalk, and floating dock. Two of the bunk extensions fit easily and the other two came shipped with paint scraped off (see comparison photo) and fit too tightly when assembling/disassembling. Only other negative is that the instructions do not say how to install the straps to the cart. I used a cow hitch in the approximate center of the strap to attach each just below the bunk bars diagonally from each other. I then fastened the two ends of each strap around the yak about 18 inches apart from each other. Held great. Will be looking for a better knot as this one loosens itself and slides down when not in use.

I initially ordered the CTug cart & as good as it was rated, it just wouldn't fit or stay on my Old Town Topwater 106. This cart works perfectly, it is adjustable, sturdy & most importantly, works. I had some doubts just by the picture however once it came in and I set it up, it was exactly what I needed. If you're looking for a unit to support a larger kayak, just get this and stop looking.

Imitation of the Wilderness systems thats 3xs more. Does it work? Yes it does. Will it hold up? Doesnt seem like it. Used 2 times and already the axle is bent. My kayak is stock with no add ons no livewell etc. Just stock at 80 lbs. Have never stored kayak sitting on cart. What i do not know is if the item this one copies is any better or worse

So glad I didn't spend the money on the WS cart. This works great for me. I use it for a Nucanoe Pursuit, mainly to maneuver from my garage to the bed of my truck. I toss it in the back seat to cart to the water when I'm not launching from a ramp.Very sturdy, I haven't had any problems, the bunks fit right into the channels on the bottom of the boat. It does take a little practice to get it on and off the cart easily. My biggest complaint is the straps. To be fair, it is probably an issue with all of these style carts. But there is no good way to use the straps. Once the rails slip up inside the bunks then wrapping them around the kayak doesn't work. You have to tie the strap to the lower frame of the cart and then go around the kayak. It's not very secure, and if you get it off to one side they rub on the wheels. For now I just don't use the straps and it isn't much of a problem. But I've been trying to come up with a system to use a strap or bungee from the center of each axle so they not in the way.

Awesome Kayak Cart!!I have a heavy fishing kayak and I needed something that was more sturdy and supportive than my current Malone cart. I saw this one by Best Marine and decided to take a chance on it even though it had no reviews. This thing is great! Super easy to assemble right out of the box. Only takes a couple of minutes to put together. The rails can be adjusted from side to side to fit the grooves on the bottom of my kayak. There’s also two different height options. Once adjusted to my kayak, it fits like a glove every time. The rails hold the kayak in place and prevent it from twisting or falling off the cart when I’m going over bumps or taking turns. The wheels are made of plastic and are large enough to handle most types of terrain. It also comes with two straps that hold my kayak in place, although I never find the need to use them. Overall, I have no complaints. This thing is a beast. Super strong and durable. Makes it much easier to get from my truck to the water. There’s lots of cheaper options out there, but you get what you pay for.
