Such a shame, buyer be aware! We love this fire pit. I bought this a year and a half ago. Last summer the ignitor on the unit failed. The flame will not stay ignited unless you tape down the ignitor button.I reached out to customer service at Best Choice Products looking to buy (not for free) but to pay money for a new one. The responded: " What we do is, we do provide free spare parts to all of our customers, especially if that particular parts are available in stock and if the orders are eligible within our 60-day warranty window.” So because I purchased this over 60 days ago I will need to buy a whole new unit because they won’t sell me a part that they have. I even asked if they can referr me to another company that I can purchase a compatible replacement piece. They said they do not do that. I have never heard of this.

It's a nice firepit, put to much glass in it first making it hard to light. But after putting the right amount of glass in worked great and looks great. And can roast marshmallows.

Out of the box the valve was bad. Would not stay lit. Bought a new valve here on Amazon and it works great now. buy a better cover too. The original rips easy.

Just received today and was able to assemble it in about 30min. It looks like I paid a lot more for it and feels sturdy! The furniture store wanted $1500 for one that looks almost identical to this one!Hopefully this will last, it’s almost a perfect match to my patio furniture m, which is a darker brown almost black with a brown undertone. Unless you’re looking at it with a magnifying glass you can’t tell it’s not part of the same set.

REVIEW OF BEST CHOICE PRODUCTS 57in FIRE PIT TABLEDelivery: Received it 3 days before the earliest expected delivery date 5 StarsPackaging: Excellent – Heavy cardboard outer box, reinforced corners,good blocking, lots of foam padding, no damage to contents 5 StarsAssembly: Directions were good - everything was in the package, Iassembled it myself although two people would have made ita lot easier, four hours from opening the box to completion(I’m over 80 yo, temperature was in the mid-nineties with veryhigh humidity requiring me to take many “cool-off” breaks) Iwould guess 1-1/2 to 2 hours would be a normal assembly time. 5 StarsUsage: Too hot to really give it a try-out, but I did run it for about10 minutes – very pleased with this purchase 5 Stars
