Nothing wrong with the build quality of these, but my experience so far is that the one-sided type method weights work better because the hold the bait longer. With these being open on all sides, the bait dissolves much quicker. Also, it seems that the hook is much easier to snag on the wire construction of these as compared to the thicker frame construction of the one-sided feeders.It seems likely that a different mixture for bait would work better than what I have been using. A thicker mixture that does not dissolve as easily and that keeps the hooks away from the wire spring would be better with this feeder.These feeders are well made, and since the bait mixture seems key to success, 5 stars seems like a fair rating for these. They are quite affordable too.
