しっかりしたアンブシュアを作るために有効だと思います。が、アンブシュアの基本が出来ていないと逆効果になるかもしれません。

It's just a small bit of plastic and a screw. $20 is a lot to ask for. I could 3d print something comparable/better than this. How the product works is you adjust air resistance by sliding a plastic covering over different holes. However, this can be a little awkward to do.All that being said, the product works alright, so it gets a 3 star. Would have been 4 star if it was priced better.

This works perfectly for those times I need to practice quietly. I like the ability to change the pressure so it is more like my horn.

This product works as advertised. A high school band director who plays horn semi-professionally recommended it to me. Working my lips separately with a buzzer helps with accuracy and clean attacks. It's also useful for warm ups and quiet practice.

I only realized how valuable this tool is once I lost mine. I was without one for about two weeks during the summer. The BERP allows you to properly and consistently enforce a set amount of resistance against your buzz. One note is that the BERP will not be able to be secured properly to the end of a leadpipe with a rounded coupler. You CAN fix this with tape, etc., but you risk disrupting the sound of the instrument. When I practice, I usually isolate phrases and buzz them to accuracy. It fixes stuff every time.Honestly, I just hold mine.

I'm a professional horn player and teacher. This is a good tool for beginning brass players, certainly a better option than holding the mouthpiece separately and buzzing on it. It doesn't quite provide amazing or fast results, but what can? For my youngest struggling student it seemed tp make things harder, probably because it just works / feels different than playing into the horn. I didn't find it as helpful for myself (professional level) for the same reason, though I know other advanced players who like them, and an intermediate student of mine seems to do really well with it. To be fair, I'm not a big proponent of mouthpiece buzzing anyway, and if you are (eg if you warm up that way every day, or whatever) you'll probably like this quite a bit.In short, it's worth trying out. Even if you don't love it and use it a lot, it will teach you something new about your playing which is always useful. It's a nice tool to have around.
