I saw a lot of positive reviews and thought I'd give it a try. Unfortunately, the product relies on the original faceplate to hold itself up. So I unscrewed my faceplate, and put the product between the wall and faceplate and tried to screw the faceplate back on... But the original screws were not long enough to catch when the product is sandwiched in between... So I unscrewed the wall plug screws to give it room to catch, and that worked... But then I ran into the other problem, that the product relies on the faceplate to hold itself in place. If you overtighten the faceplate screws then you'll crack your faceplate. But even if you tighten it, when you put something on top of the product, the product will become misaligned and won't look good aesthetically. This should come with screws that are long enough, or have it's own faceplate built into the product itself (not rely on the existing faceplate for support). I will be returning...

Not the best, they don't fit nicely around the plate, thick and leave over 1cm boarder around the plate. Also they come folded so there's a crease in them which is super obvious. iIf you want something nice looking don't buy these ones.

my power sockets tend to sit low on my walls and the few that are up where i need this shelf thing to work, are right beside a door frame, and this shelf wont sit there... so i cut it in half to make it work. it holds my smart speaker in the bathroom so its not on the floor while i soak and listen to my tunes. bought a 4 pack in case i could figure out uses for the spares... anyone want one? lol

Really like the concept of this and it works - holds some pretty heavy equipment with no signs of giving out. However, because it sits behind the plate, it doesn't "seal" as tight to the wall all the way around the plate because of where the screws are on the outlet cover. It also restricts what you can plug in because it reduces the width between the shelf and outlet. I ended up using in my shed for holding chargers and an Amazon Show. In the future, I'll go for a little shelf or organizer bin over this as I don't mind putting a hole in the wall for a better seal.
