Important Note:
1) Not Bi-directional
- The cable is used to connect the laptop or computer with DisplayPort output, the monitor with DVI input. It could not work in the opposite direction.
2) Not the DisplayPort to DVI Dual Link Solution:
- The DisplayPort to DVI cable is single link adapter, the maximum resolution is up to 1920*1200@60Hz, if you are looking for the DisplayPort to DVI dual link solution, which could achieve 2560*1600@60Hz resolution, please see the following comparision table.
3) Not the USB to DVI Solution:
- It's the DisplayPort cord instead of USB cord, if you are looking for the USB to DVI solution, please see the following comparision table. Using the USB to HDMI solution with HDMI-DVI cable, it will achieve the USB to DVI solution.
4) Not the HDMI to DVI Solution:
- It's the DisplayPort instead of HDMI cord, if you are looking for the HDMI male to DVI solution, please see the following comparision table.
5) Not the Displayport to VGA Solution:
- It's the DisplayPort to DVI cord.
6）Passive Cable
- Few docking station doesn't support DP++ Mode. If you are using docking station, we suggest to choose Active DP to DVI Adapter. Please see the table in the following.

I bought these after returning two display port to dvi-d adapters that were worthless. Plugged these in and they worked perfectly. Also disconnect clips on these are easier to use than some other cables I’ve used.

Works just as advertised! I haven't had any video quality issues with my old 1080p 24 inch monitor from 2012. The cable is sturdy and the connect is pretty standard so nothing to write home about.5 Stars since I can't think of any issues or any improvements I would want.

I have 3 monitors that hook up to my new minicomputer. One is HDMI, another is USB 4, and the last is a display port which I used this for. There was no additional set up required, the computer found the monitor with no problems.

This is a wonderful cordy, it plugs in and everything, does exactly what a good reliable cord should do.... and it works... it is decently manufactured... not sure how to rate a cord, but it is pleasant and works, it fills my life with joy and happiness

Works well for me to connect a recently upgraded video card on the computer to an older monitor (with only DVI-D and VGA connections). Monitor is still really good, so no point in changing it.

This is a strange cable, but it might be useful to some people if your (newer) computer has a display port output but your (older) monitor does not have a display port input. If your monitor has only a DVI or RGB 15-pin input AND your computer tower has a display port output, this is what you need. The DVI port on your monitor will give you a MUCH better picture than the blue 15-pin RGB port will. This cable is meant for connecting a newer computer tower to an older monitor like this. Just be aware that you can’t get a 4K picture with this (and your monitor likely doesn’t support 4K resolution if it doesn’t have a display port or HDMI port anyway) cable. It will work fine for 1080P and probably be OK for 2K resolution at max. I can confirm this cable works fine and gives a good picture for this situation.Also, unlike an HDMI cable, this cable does NOT carry a sound signal. So make sure you have your computer connected to whatever speakers you want to use.Side note: Be sure to measure the length and make sure the cable is long enough. Also, if your computer AND monitor BOTH have display ports OR HDMI ports, use those instead and don’t buy this cable - those ports are much better.

This is a long term review because I purchased this 4 years ago when building my new desktop.This cable is secure in place once attached and it doesn't flake out like cheaper products can.Video quality has always been first rate, and I don't lag, d/c, or have video artifacts on the monitor, ever.Not sure why I didn't rate this sooner, but the BENFEI cable has been solid.
