My family and I just had to put our gerbil to sleep because she injured her leg in one of the side holes of this product and wound up at the pet hospital on Christmas Day. While this product I’m sure is useful I do want to inform others that a pet can chew through this and the holes aren’t exactly a good idea to have on the sides. My kids were devastated as this was their first pet. I just wanted to make mention of this. In order to allow other to keep a close eye on the product and pet.
