I was making two memory pillows, had a leather piece embroidered with name and birthdate/death. Centered it on the pillow and use this trim around it and it looks absolutely perfect. I was so happy that it worked out.

This leather braid roll is perfect for my cosplay costume designs.It doesn't have a smell or leave residue on my hands and is quite soft and durable.I was able to sew it on with my sewing machine without any issues - I just went slow with the pedal.It cuts well with my sewing scissors, and added a nice rustic touch to my Comicon costume design.I also used my glue gun to attach it to a picture frame around the front, and it adheres well without warping or melting.Great quality and pricing for the usage and length.

The yardage was great, but in the middle of my roll there was a huge flaw which made it tricky to work for the doublet I was decorating. I needed straight yardage to make sure it fit right, but since the projected had the trim divided into 4x 2yd pieces, it worked out alright in the end. Be careful if you need continuous yardage without flaws. I used my machine to sew it on and had two problems: the trim kept stretching, causing the fabric underneath to bunch to, and my needle was getting gunked up as it pierced the faux leather portion of the trim. I really like the aesthetic of the trim, and if I had glued it or hand sewn it, probably wouldn’t have had any issues working with it.

I used this as trim on my bar stools as they were getting bumped into the counter and getting chipped/scraped up. When you cut the material, you have to singe the ends to stop each end from fraying. I used Mod Podge (another amazon item) to apply to the chairs and the trim. Let it set for 24 hrs. You can see in the pic, on the bottom of chair, the scrapes that im covering. Wow, I’m liking the result

As much as I like this trim, it was not one continuous piece and had 6 stapled sections. Unfortunately it didn't work because each cut piece was not long enough for what I was using it for. 😕

Looks really good, not quite like real leather but close enough. I really like the texture, it looks delicate but is pliable and has a good drape. It’s not at all stiff. My roll also had some imperfections, but the one I received wasn’t too bad. Highly recommend, in hindsight I should have purchased another roll. I will definitely be using this.
