I found it really difficult to find well-suited products for working on harder metals. I got these to remove some grinding marks on steel and chrome-finished tools and they worked really well. They removed all but the deepest of scratches and with a couple minutes of work even brought the finish up to a low polish. I would estimate they leave a finish between 400-1000 grit depending how long you keep at it.Note that the wheels are quite firm, about the stiffness of a stale cookie (sorry for the strange comparison). They're good for moderate curves and corners but don't expect them to conform into deep crevices or tiny features.
