Worked perfect. I use the tiny Alan key that comes with my set to hold the brushes in place while I install. There’s a tiny hole to do that. Really looks like quality brushes. Super happy. 100kms on the Alternator and no issues.

Most of the time, an alternator failure is a result of worn brushes. Mine was. The bearings and voltage regulator were fine, and the only problem was this $15 part. After you take out the alternator, it takes less than 5 minutes to put this in. I bought a new alternator for $140, and it is sitting on my shelf as a spare.

A well made product, which will probably last years. I slightly damaged the brushes trying to put them in position and didn't realise that the two screw eyelets each side are at the same level. On my model alternator the screw holes are nearly 3mm different - one is lower than the other. Unfortunatly, there was no side on view photograph, therefore I could not see exactly what I was buying. My bad for blindly ordering.I have since re-ordered from another supplier who provided many photographs from many angles

The product was just fine for the price and the fit was good. The only problem was that the promised delivery date was moved up a couple of times too many. I understand that sometimes there will be delays but when you get way beyond what is promised it’s a problem.
