This board is working as expected and sound great. I am told that they don’t last long and give a lot or trouble but I will prove for myself. So far great board worth the cost.

Complicated and confusing for those who been using Analog console... but it gets pleasant when getting to know and understand ESPECIALLY THE ROUTING process

Belle job Behringer!

Flipping incredible piece of engineering. Absolute credit to behringer even if they had a wobbly past this console absolutely pulls them out of the dirt and puts them back into the market of affordable digital gear. I use this for contract work around England and it’s amazing, rugged, fairly lightweight and along with a flight case it is brilliant to move around easily. I got the compact hoping that features weren’t compromised and I was absolutely correct. Brilliant piece of kit. My one and only complaint however is that there is a tiny dead pixel on the lcd screen towards the top right hand side and although isn’t a problem i would just suggest that maybe Behringer’s quality control should maybe be slightly tighter.

A lot of tech for your money. Behringer once again offers you a ton of technology in the box at a extremely good price.

Most consoles and multi-channel sound interfaces do not specify how you can use all of those channels. Often times you can only usefully access them via ASIO. Fortunately, the X32's XUF card has WDM drivers that allow you to record and playback 8 channels in stereo pairs. That is, your computer sees 4 separate playback sound cards and 4 separate recording sound cards. This enables you to route from application to application just like you would if it were its own pair of inputs and outputs. I do a lot of internet radio work, and this makes a complicated studio setup with DJ software, Skype/Google Hangout, and live remotes all easy to do. (I'm using the matrix routing for mix-minus.)The driver has a control panel which enables you to set both WDM and ASIO latency independently.I will say that the drivers aren't the most stable. They overwrote some file used by my webcam, so my webcam no longer works. They have randomly stopped working on two occasions. It's also a requirement to physically unplug and replug the XUF card's USB cable if you reboot the console without rebooting the computer.Audio quality from the X32 is acceptable, but I certainly wouldn't call it great. Going from straight digital audio over USB to some monitor speakers, you can hear that the quality is okay but not what I had hoped for. As everyone says, the input stage isn't bad. The digital processing is also good. It's the analog outputs that could use some work. You do get *more* than you pay for with this console though. The functionality is great, and the built-in effects are completely usable. I would have liked to see some XLR/TRS combo jacks on the back since I use so many keyboards, but I'm sure this would have been expensive. Maybe I'll mod my console myself... it's very easy to take apart and maintain.
