poorly thought out wavetable module with joystick for morphing. the joystick is cool and has cv control for morphing, which is only reason i might keep this. however the module takes up too many HP for the features, could be 6HP instead and still have joystick. the 128 waves are mostly garbage, sound MUCH more thin and wheezy than you would hear on a real prophet VS (probably down to the DACS, since the waveforms are pretty much yoinked straight out of a VS). no software to load your own wavetables. joystick novelty is fun but with poor sounds and no way to load your own this gets absolutely wrecked by the Mutable Instruments braids.

I use this to embellish other sounds. Great for pads. It works best with the $100 ProVX standalone unit, where you can fine tune patches and upload them to the module. As reviewed previously, the variation between samples is weak, but for the money its basically a blank canvas waiting for creative input.
