The second it was in my hand, I knew I would never take this up on a roof for 8 hours. It is box store homeowner grade. I just use it for taping and velcro for things outside roofing, just to get air bubbles out. For homeowners attempting to do a repair every once in a while on his/her own roof, it should do fine. If you're a roofer, pass on this. (10 years in roofing)

This tool was an absolute lifesaver when i was installing sound deadening in my 4Runner. It was able to push into all the tight corners without tearing the foil on the vinyl, and the notch in the flat roller makes outer corners a breeze!

Good little roller. I used this for my rv roof tape and had no issues. It is sturys and rolls nice. That is all I need it for, so it is going to last me a very long time.

This isn't a super heavy duty seam roller but one that should work for most tape sealing and sound deadening installation. I used this to help seal a motorcycle rim that I was converting from a tube tire to a tubeless tire. One of the steps is to use sealing tape over the spoke holes. This requires using a roller tool like this to get 100% adhesion. The tool worked perfectly for that. I also used it to repair an HVAC system that had numerous leaks. This help me roll tape without any bubbles after re-sealing the duct connections with sealant. You get a narrow and wider end to help push tape into crevices.
