These cups keep cold for hours. Even to the point of freezing water in the bottom of the cup. They are 1 year old now and have noticed major cracks suddenly appearing in 2 of the 4 mugs.

I bought these mugs a year ago and they cracked almost immediately after using them. I replaced them with a nearly identical set of mugs and treated the new mugs differently. Let the mug come to room temperature before washing. Hand wash in hot, soapy water. Let the mug come to room temperature again before putting them in the freezer. I think the only reason the plastic on my first set of mugs cracked is because they can't take extreme temperature shifts. In other words, don't wash a cold or frozen mug in hot water. Wait for the mug to come to room temperature.
