Feels tight and has some weight to it. I've seen Bouncer filters at three times the price of this one. I haven't yet used this filter. It will be to filter homebrewed beer before it's bottled. I replaced the 3/8" barbs with 1/2" barbs, hoping to get greater flow. I'm told the bigger barbs won't help in that department. I think the mesh size equals-out to be 250 microns. I'm happy with what was sent...

This holds up very well, adds a bit of haze to the first beer or so. But it helped me filter a very hoppy beer and make it much more easy to drink. Definitely suggest getting it. It's cheap and worked well inline on the output of a keg

The filter itself is great it does exactly what is needed, however if the lid for the filter itself may leak a bit. They left room in the middle of the filter to add more filters. It is nice but would have been better if they included some cloth or activated charcoal to put in the filter.

tengo que parchar todo con cinta porque se fuga el liquido. Apretando bastante fuerte la pieza transparente (tapa) y con algo de cinta no escurre pero no tengo garantías con el oxigeno. El verdadero problema son los conectores blancos que conectan con manguera ya que requieren demasiada cinta para que no escurran y además se barren (Stripped screw) cuando llegan al tope y me preocupa llegar a una presión que no soporte la cinta junto con el conector blanco

I'd agree with the previous review in that the hose barbs are not the correct size, however, I already had the ones I needed without having to run to the store.However, I learned that for best flow, the filter needs to sit as level as possible. If it droops more than 15 degrees or so, flow slows to a trickle.Beyond that, it seems like a great product

Included Hose Barbs are NOT for 3/8 Tubing as described. They are these useless 3/16 barbs (Aquarium air hose size) that do not work well for beer transfer. Had to run out to a local home supply store to find the correct ones. Still testing this thing out.Adding an update and increased rating a star. Although the supplied hose barbs were not as indicated, the seller responded and offered a reasonable solution. I was impressed with their fast response and offer to make things right. The filter works great, filtering out most of the sediments in my beer making process. This filter was easy to clean and sanitize. I will be ordering a second one.
