Love the cap. Fits perfect. No problem getting it on or off. I have short hair. I won't be doing any hard swimming, more of a dog paddle gal. Just needed something to keep hair reasonably contained and out of water. Looks flattering, even with my wrinkly face.

I have a really big Afro and so I’m always concerned about whether a swimming cap is going to leave room for my hair let water seep in and damage my hair or what the situation is going to be. This worked perfectly for my hair. I would definitely recommend trying it plus, I got a lot of compliments at my water fit class.

I have colored red hair, so I try to protect it from chlorine as much as possible. I use this cap in my water aerobics class, and it fits well and is super cute, but not as water resistant as I'd like it to be. For the price, though, it's good.

I thought this was going to be my favorite swim cap. The first thing that hit me was the awful smell (still hope that goes away). I wore it yesterday while doing my laps. It did the job keeping my head warm, but the part that goes over my ears would trap water and I had to release every few laps. The only time I could not smell it was when I wore the large mask and snorkel (face buried in the water). Never got used to that. Hair was not soaking wet, so that was the good thing.Edited 11/24/2024: Upgraded to three stars. Still using the cap and the smell is not as bad. The seller offered to refund my purchase, but I declined since I am still using the cap. It keeps my head warm and that was why I bought it, so it is ok by me.

I’m Scandinavian and have a large skull. I have trouble finding any hats that fit. This cap fits comfortably. The material is dimpled so it does pull on my hair or squeeze my skull too tightly.I love the flowers - feels retro and fun.It might not keep out 100% of the pool water - but part of the goal in using a cap is to keep your hair out of the pool filters! That’s why they’re required in many public pools and spas in Europe. In fact, if you don’t have one, public pools sometimes provide ‘loaners’ and then you’re at the mercy of whatever brand they’ve selected. Don’t be that person…bring your own!

I have worn a swim cap regularly since my childhood days (just call me "old fashioned"!!) I do not like my hair getting wet with chlorine water, or dirty lake water, or baked in the hot sun! also, I have very frizzy hair, and if it gets wet, it looks a mess! so, I always looks for a cute and practical swim cap. Some are very tight and leave a mark on my forehead for hours. This cap is very stylish, fits very well, not too tight around the forehead, and keeps my hair dry (which is tied up into a bun) I do not go underneath the water, and I think this cap wouldn't keep my hair 100% dry, but just splashing around above water, it keeps my hair very dry! I'm going to order another swim cap, same style in a second color.

I purchased this to protect my hot pink hair from chlorine and sun while in the pool with my small herd of children. My hair is very short and only pink on top. The cap kept the top of my hair dry, but the back and sides were wet, not that it bothered me, but I can see how it would be frustrating. As an added bonus, it helped muffle the constant shouts of "mom! Look at me!!!" As for the smell that others have mentioned, it is quite pungent. My eldest darling commented on it and decided it was bad enough to not want anymore rides from me! Yet another bonus!!!! As for the looks, I think it's hilarious. My mom said I look like her mom. My brother in law told me he would be sitting far away from me on the family beach trip. I gotta say, the extra features (muffled screams, child repelling odor, and family block) should really be mentioned in the product description! As a side note, cats will not wear the swim cap.
