My friend gave me some of these and the cats liked them so I ordered, but these are different. They are kind of hard/too thick like there is gelatin in them. I have to add water so my cats will eat them. Maybe they are old? They are not expired so I don’t know. I will probably pick another brand next time.

My cat likes the Purina Fancy Feast Savory Purée Naturals in both Salmon and Tuna flavors. But they aren’t cheap! So I thought I’d try these Beefeaters in Salmon. (That’s all she eats is the FF Savory Purée and Science Diet kibble). First the Beefeaters food doesn’t come out of the bag as a purée, rather, it comes out more as a solid rubbery piece of (possibly) white meat. It does not smell like salmon. I have two cats, neither would even try it; just a smell, then walk away. (Snobby cats!). But I also feed anywhere from 3-6 feral cats every night out front (I have to large dogs so they’re not welcome in the backyard lol 😂) Not one of those stray cats ate this. They ate the canned food on the same plate, but ate around the Beefeater’s brand. I was shocked!! Usually a feral cat will eat anything I offer. Not this!! If your cat is partial to calamari, then you might consider this for him/her.I hate leaving bad reviews but really, it was tested on 8-10 cats and not one was interested in it. I really can’t justify a good grade.
