We are using this in a twin sized bed as we transition the toddler to his own bed. Like most toddlers, he flails in his sleep like an octopus out of water so these bed rails are necessary to ensure he doesn't take a spill in the night. They feel very secure and durable.

I would have givem it 5 stars except I bought 2 rails and they took quite a bit of time to put together. Love the operation of them though.

Can I just say wow!! I cannot get over how extremely sturdy this is against my 4-year-old tornado! So when I get out of bed in the morning to get my housework done I put the toddler bed rail up to keep her safe and oh my God does it work so well! It was pretty easy to put together, I didn't even need to ask my husband! I feel very safe leaving my daughter in bed alone with the toddler bed rail to keep her safe! I have tried a few other brands before and this one seems to be the best value for the quality! It's very sturdy, I really love the color, the material is fantastic, and it seems to be put together very well by the manufacturer! I have a 1-year-old as well so hopefully it makes it through the 4-year-old and then still sturdy enough for the 1-year-old! There is a little bit of a learning curve when I need to fold it for storage. Honestly though, it is easy once you get the hang of it. Once I had it assembled and in place properly, I did not notice any gaps. I absolutely trust this product. Definitely recommend it! I wish I had found it sooner.

The instructions are confusing and very small print, but ultimately i got it together. I followed the directions, but I had to double back and "unconnect" a couple pieces to get the cloth cover attached properly. I didn't realize that I wasn't supposed to take the styrofoam cover off the top railing portions (I thought that was shipping/packing protection so i took it off) and then realized it was meant to pad the rail. it was easy enough to put back on. It's easy to fold down (but you need a wide arm span or two people to do it).

The bed rail took about 15 minutes to put together. Directions were good but not great. One word of advice is it 2 pieces don't fit together easily don't force it, there is another piece that will slide right on.Once together it was easy to setup on the bed. Our mattress was heavy enough to secure the rail. If you have a light mattress there are included straps that will wrap around for extra security. The rail is adjustable so it will work if your mattress is 3" or 10". The rail folds down easily by pressing a bottom on each arm.I am surprised by how sturdy the rail is. It is L shaped and half of it slides under the mattress. It is strong enough to prevent an adult from rolling out of bed.The rail is easy to put up and down.The one thing I would change is making it so there is only 1 button that needs pressed to unlock the rail to unfold. If you are in bed and want to unfold the rail it can be difficult because you need to hit a button on each folding arm and they are 47" apart.Overall a high quality sturdy rail.

I will update this review to include pictures soon, but for now I wanted to write up a quick review for anyone else considering this toddler rail - GET IT!! It is exactly what we needed for our lil guy who has recently transitioned from a crib/toddler bed to a twin bed. Putting the rail together was not hard at all; I did it myself in less than 30 minutes (and that was with my 4 year old "helping" lol) I love that this toddler rail slips in under the mattress so you know it's going to stay put and best of all and you can't feel the rails at all! I love that you can adjust the height smoothly and easily so that the rail fits snug against your mattress, whether it's on the thinner side or thicker side. I appreciate that it also came with straps in the event we wanted to reinforce the toddler rail with straps, but they got in the way of the sheets and were uncomfortable so we opted to not use them. We never need to lower the rail but clicking the buttons at the same time to lower them is a tad tricky, but can be done. I love that it's a generous size toddler rail - Our lil guy has not had any issues with rolling out of his bed since we've gotten this rail! Highly recommend!
