First, this is a well made holster and is actually made of real leather, NOT the worthless faux crap.. However, this is the 3rd one I have ordered, the other 2 from a different vendors store. Every time I have gotten the darker one when I ordered the lighter one. This is most likely an Amazon error, and probably do not know the difference.. The main issue is, the finish is terrible.. You basically just have to look at it and it scratches. After a short time, it looks horrible with many scratches. I took some sandpaper and completely sanded it to lighten up the finish. My iphone 16 pro max fits the large size even with a clear protective cover. If only Amazon could get their stock sorting fixed, it would be much better.

My Pixel 7, in a slim case, securely fits very well in this holster. Very good protection, easy opening and closing, appears to be well made. Should last quite a while.So why only 4 stars? The metal belt clip.Like most phone holsters with this style clip it slips on the belt with ease, but has no holding power and can slip off the belt with little force. Started using just the slip on clip and the phone & case came off the belt getting out of a car (as the driver), getting caught on a chair or other protruding device while walking around the house, and once while dropping my pants in the bathroom (luckily facing a safe direction).I now use the holster straps which securely holds under all conditions.The best belt clip I have found is on Nite-ize holster cases. The bottom of the clip is slightly upturned so the clip must be manually lifted slightly to get it off the belt, or slid off a removed belt. Unfortunately most Nite-ize holsters are utilitarian nylon styles with velcro closures. I like the magnetic closure on this BECPLT holster. Over time velcro closures gum up with junk and no longer close.If BECPLT sees this review then changing your belt clip to one with a slight upturn on the bottom of the clip would change this to a 5+ star product.
