After my burner service and oil delivery guy retired, I could not find another service tech who would clean my oil burning boiler as well or with as much care as my old friend. This was always a job that I left for someone else. I worked as a mechanic on cars and trucks my whole life and did plumbing, electrical, and carpentry for myself, friends, and family. It was the guy who got called when something broke. When the price of the service went through the roof over the past few years, I decided to add yet another skill to my brain and taught myself how to do the job. This little gauge makes setting the electrodes easy.

Gage markings helped tune up Beckett gun. I had to view the video on how to use the gage. I say the Beckett gage is very useful.

This is the tool I needed for helping set up all these oil burners. Allows multiple setups depending on what you’re working on… great to have in your toolbox
