I tried to source this switch from multiple different Mitsubishi dealers and from Japan but they were discontinued. Found this through research and it was identical except for the connector. I soilder spliced the wires into the existing harness and unit worked great. You will need to get either an aluminum crush wasker or a rubber/aluminum washer to seal to the case. 87 Conquest with manual 5 speed transmission was our application
