Like others have said,it comes in a Beck/Arnley box, but part is stamped with a Mann brand. Worked in my 1990 Mercedes 300SL perfectly.

This filter is basically a rebranded Mann filter. They are made in the same place and look identical. Mine did not say Mann on it like some other reviewers so I suspect they are now just putting the beck arnley name on the same filters as before. Fit my W123 Mercedes well and serves its purpose.

Purged and flushed out power steering fluid in 93 benz and did the filter change. Good for another 50k.

Ordered a BECK/ARNLEY (044-4000) Power steering filter for my Mercedes 190 and actually got a Mann Filter (H 85 made in Spain) the same one my Mercedes dealer has at double the price. I am very happy with this purchased.

Like another reviewer noted, this filter is strangely double packaged, as a Mann filter inside a Beck/Arnley box. No biggie, as the filter fits my 94 E320 perfectly and does exactly what it's supposed to. A quick side by side pic shows how dirty the filter can get. Used the dollar store turkey baster method to extract the old fluid into an empty mason jar, then pushed the plastic plunger in, removed the 10mm retaining nut, pulled out the old filter with some long needle nose pliers, and then turned on the car and gave the wheel a few turns to get the PS pump to gargle up any additional fluid. Got nearly all the old fluid (approx 800ml) out and replaced with almost an entire liter of OEM Mercedes fluid, available from my local dealer for ~$10. All in all, a great product for an often overlooked (and necessary) DIY maintenance service. Steering is now super smooth and super quiet.

Inside the Beck/Arnley box was a Mann box. Inside the Mann box was a Mann filter. I like Mann filters, so I have no issue with this. It did seem a little odd though. The filter was a perfect fit for my 1989 Mercedes 300SEL. A pair of needle-nose pliers works well for pulling the old filter out.The picture shows what I received.
