This steamer is packaged very nicely and was easy to fill and use. It was powerful enough to get the wrinkles out of my linen curtains and didn't take long to get to the right temperature. I found it user friendly and felt the quality and price point were both good.

I really like this steamer rather than using a iron. It heats up quickly and you can finish an entire garment without having to add more water. This steamer is great for travel and packs compact in your bag.

UPDATE: After two days of trying, we finally got the plug back in. It took brute force and persistence. DO NOT EVER take out the small side of the plug. You won't be able to get it back in, or if you do, it's because you've got two days to waste on the task. As a steamer, it works pretty well -- see photos of unironed and ironed sleeves. I'll still have to iron, but I can at least start the job before I have time to take out the ironing board.Once I got the plug out of the tank, I couldn't get it to go back in again. The large side popped back in but the small side wouldn't go back in, so I couldn't get tank back into the handle. I think the small side isn't supposed to come out, but you need to watch the video. There's nothing in the instruction booklet about that. Totally useless piece of equipment now.

A little more expensive than most steamers. Stable, still weighty in your hand, it folds up to not take up much space. There are 2 main things I like about this particular steamer. My favorite thing is the ability to steam things that are laying flat like you would use an iron. I often don't have a way to hang clothing conveniently near an electrical outlet where the steamer has to be plugged in. By being able to iron clothing that is laying flat that takes away my need for a hanging hook. The other thing I like is the steam is more controllable meaning when I need to walk away I can stop the steam for up to 10 minutes without it shutting off and without any steam coming out. I can't count the times I've had to unplug a different steamer to go answer the door, take something out of the oven, attend to a child who needs help with homework. With this steamer even if you unplug it - it heats up rather quickly so you can get to steaming almost immediately. Oh, and there's a 3rd thing I like. They included a fabric brush attachment that helps pick up any lint or stray hair that may be on your clothing and helps "plump up" your heavier clothing items that may need a little life in them. The bristles aren't natural though, they're synthetic - that may matter to you. I wouldn't use the brush attachment on silky, satin like, or easily picked fabric items. It does sit well on its own without fear of having it topple over.

Other than a tiny travel iron/steamer, I have not had a clothes steamer before, so I don't really have anything to compare this to. I also picked this up just to have on hand for occasional use. Once in a while I have a top that I don't feel like ironing, but needs wrinkle relief. (lol) So I'm not really expecting/in need of a whole lot.But this seems to be a decent steamer. I used it on a cotton tablecloth and it did a pretty nice job. I still feel the tablecloth could use an ironing, but the steamer at least got it to "presentable."The company is an unknown brand with a Canadian address, and it seems to comply with Canadian/International safety regulations. I have not actually looked up the number to verify, but I don't really have reason to doubt it. The steamer seems to be well made - quite substantial. (You can fold it up for storage, but it's too bulky and heavy for me to consider traveling with it. It will stay home.)Value for your money seems to be about on par or a tad bit better when compared to the offerings of Major US-available brands. It seems to be higher wattage and have a larger tank than most others available for around this price-point.

This little thing packs a punch! Simple to use with the provided instructions and heats up for use in just a few seconds. Used this on several linen and cotton clothing items before a big trip and needed to re-fill the water tank roughly every two items. Gets most of the wrinkles out without drenching clothes, though you may get some wet spots on the first use or two - nothing crazy though. Easy to handle and quite light so it is not very tiring to use for long either.

Apparently some people use a steamer before they iron. I wanted to try this as an alternative to ironing when I just need to get some wrinkles out or freshen up a shirt after it has been in the dryer. I have included before and after pics to show the results of a quick steaming on a dress shirt that had been washed and dryed. I think it made a big difference....especially in the arms and it eliminated the need for me to get out the ironing board which is a bonus.I have used these types of steamers before but have never owned one. This thing puts out an impressive amount of steam. When running it out I found myself daydreaming about turning the extra bedroom into a sauna with this thing. Then the beeping brought me back to reality. Low water warning and time to shut her down for today. This product is better than any of the ones I tried in the past. It heats up very quickly. Puts out an impressive amount of steam. Has two levels of steaminess to choose from. It really works and helped take out the wrinkles in a dress shirt and some pants (I'm old, but not old enough to call them slacks). Includes a brush attachment you can use to help get hair off the fabric you are steaming. Also includes a small cup that is sized to fill the removable water tank. The unit has a nice-length cord and is lightweight and easy to operate. Very impressed with how well this works. I will be using it often and have a feeling my iron is going to get really lonely.
