I donβt know if if it was mine or just that piece was bad, but that thing caught on fire. It is easy to replace. It didnβt fit perfectly. We have to bend the steel but two days after that thing have literally fired coming out.

One of the outlet was bent on arrival , straighten it with hand , fit is not good but once the pan sits on top it slids in, heat up good

I pulled a pretty decent GE SPECTRA jbp26wob1ww from a client's house that was switching from it to a gas setup. I had an old old stove with just knobs on it...no clock, no nothing and the oven had issues so I figured this is a pretty nice range to degrease, clean up and install.... only one of the 8 inch Burners had a broken foot so it wouldn't hold a pan.....I ordered this while cleaning up the unit and as expected, I had to tweak the electrical tabs because this is obviously from China and quality control is not their strong suit..... they came like | instead of || and needed to be bent toward the bottom of the burner pretty far to allow it to sit flat when installed. Took me about a minute and a half to install, pull, bend like 4 times.Turned the burner to HI and this baby GLOWS! This burner gets hotter and glows brighter than the originals. Cooked a couple hot dogs in a fry pan with a little water and it was fast! Pan sits flat with no rocking. I'm happy. For the price of this this I got a $700 stove back to like new condition!We will see how long it lasts though... that's the tale to tell. But for now it's worth the money.
