I bought a bunch of beads that were threaded on fishing line, and once I cut the knot off the end, all the beads came loose. The small containers helped me keep either similar colored or sized beads together to make it easier to choose what I needed for my jewelry design. Then I could keep all the smaller boxes in the one larger box keeps my craft shelf neater, and I won't be as apt to lose my precious beads!

I'm organizing obsessed- everything has a place and everything in its place, so I bought my first sets 3 years ago, and haven't had any problems. Have bought another 10 or so since, because they are just so useful. We use them for our daily pills, mechanical watch parts, fly-tying hooks, beads- you name it. They've been very durable after many, many opening and closing. If you've got lots of small items and feel the burning need to organize, I highly recommend these organizers.
