I've had a plastic board similar to this before.I like this one much better since the wood has a little weight to it which makes it harder to jostle.Having the layout in a circle instead of a line makes it easier to visualize what a bracelet will look like. All of the markings are clear and easy to see.The wood is nicely finished and there are no rough edges or splintering.

One of the worst things about bracelet making or jewelry making in general is when the beads decide to take on a life of their own and roll around everywhere. This board cuts out that step for the most part by holding them in place. It also helps with sizing bracelets. Can't recommend this enough if you frequently make bracelets.

This bead board is a great size. It is large enough to handle beads of varying sizes, and it's dimensions for sizes measure accurately when using a fabric tape measure to measure the circular shapes. I love that it has a slot for necklace making as well, because, even though it's not often I make necklaces, I can use the same board if wishing to make a matching necklace and bracelet set. It is thick enough to be sturdy and strong, but thin enough to easily tuck beside my bead boxes, so it takes up very little room when stored. The only issue I have with this piece, is the back side is a little rough. It's almost as if they forgot to sand it down properly. I ran my hands along it, and I do not see or feel any splinters, but it's definitely not smooth either. The front portion where you lay beads is better, but still I did remove half a star for the unfinished feel. Being that my rating sits at a 4.5 star, I round up or down when I fall in between like this, so I am still giving this the full 5 stars. Usefulness, accuracy in sizes, easy storage, and it looking exactly as described, I do feel 5 stars is fair despite my qualms with it not being as smooth as I would like. Overall, happy with this item. Will come in handy quite a bit.

This is a great bead board for ensuring appropriate size and keeping beads in place as you work. The quality is great too! The finish is smooth and markings are clear. The grooves for beads fit any size beads. The straight sections along the bottom are also helpful for spelling with letter beads. My daughter has really gotten into making beaded bracelets and we always have the situation where beads end up bouncing off the floor like running jumping beans and we find them for days and days. This board really helps prevent and contain the mess. You can have all the beads in a line and string them with the beads in the grooves. If there is a mishap, we found much fewer beads went bouncing across the floor. It's also nice to measure your finished product to size instead of constantly measuring on wrist to see if it fits.

This board is true to size and SO helpful! I'm just starting out with jewelry making as a hobby for myself and my 4 kids, so before now I was using a plate and just measuring it on their wrist then adjusting the amount of beads before tying it. Now with this board, I know exactly how many beads I'll have space for and can adjust my design even before stringing it! It has taken a lot of the guesswork out of the bracelet making process. I love that it has a ruler at the bottom. I use it to measure string. It also has two lines to hold extra beads. I like to use those for when I use giant beads, to experiment with different arrangements, or to just hold extra beads. It's made out of solid wood and is very sturdy. It has a nice natural look with a slight sheen where the light hits it. It's lightweight and easy to store. Definitely recommend for the beginner or expert alike!

Great Bead Board for making bracelet's and necklaces with. Plus room to hold Beads so they don't roll all over.

I am working on a series of beaded bracelets, so this board seemed like a lifesaver. The sizes are clearly printed, and the wood is pleasantly smooth and has a nice heft to it. I like how deep the indentations are, so beads don't go sliding everywhere. My only complaint is the sizes are not all that useful for adult sizes? There are a lot of very small rounds that won't work for me, so that is sort of wasted space on the board.Overall a useful tool for bead organizing.

I always have had trouble getting bracelets too short or too long when I would make beaded bracelets.I was looking for a really good guide board when I came across this set.So I got my beads and started setting up my designs and wow! It really works! Now I do not worry if I have enough ( or not enough beads) for the sizes of bracelets I am making. What I really love about this particular board is that you also have the option of laying out your design in a straight line as well as the circle designs. This board is so much sturdier than the old plastic one I used to have that cracked after a year’s worth of use and travel. This board is made from super sturdy and renewable bamboo wood, which is nice too.Personally, I have used the straight layout sections to aid in laying out several beaded necklaces as well, so this super handy and well designed board is also multifunctional for your beading projects. One little thing that I use a lot with this board is the center of each round has a small inset space where I like to leave the clasp I am going to use for that particular design, so you can have several designs going on at once. And its heavy duty but not heavy to move around, which is really nice too.I love this beading tray!
