This chair umbrella is decent quality and attaches quickly and securely, providing instant shade wherever you need it. The construction is sturdy enough for light use, though it may not hold up under strong winds. A practical addition for outdoor seating, especially for quick, portable sun protection.

I wanted to use this for a couple weeks in order to give it a proper review. I gotta say, this umbrella is AWESOME! Pros-the clamp is very solid and sturdy, the screw clamp will fit on lots of different chairs. Once attached to the chair, it easily adjusts to different angles as the sun crosses the sky. The umbrella is also very well made with 12 spring-loaded ribs. It opens with the press of a button. Also the clamp and umbrella are separate you can substitute with any umbrella.Cons-Because the umbrella is sturdy, it’s a little difficult to close. To remedy this, open and close a bunch of times and it slides a little easier. Also, because the clamp that holds the umbrella is attached beyond the handle, it needs to be removed every time you want to close the umbrella. However that’s a pretty simple maneuver.

I was not able to get it set up, it looked promising from the listing but it did not deliver. Not the best quality and the instructions were not the most clear for an easy set up. Had to return and get another option.

I really like the idea of this portable umbrella that clips onto the back of your beach chair. I tested this Alyster Beach Chair Umbrella at the beach and it worked well. The umbrella itself seems to be just a collapsible travel umbrella but it does feel well-made and claims to provide UPF 50+ in sun protection. The mount used to clamp onto the back of your beach chair is done with twist knobs that tighten it down providing a secure grip on the chair and the umbrella itself. I love the portability of this item when you’re already carrying a lot of stuff to the beach, it is compact and doesn’t take up much space in your beach bag. The umbrella is a little stiff when trying to put it back down, but I think it will loosen up with more usage. It’s a great concept and I recommend this to anyone who needs some personal sun protection at the beach.

This is pretty nifty, but I haven’t yet had a chance to fully try it out. The holder is heavy duty, seemingly nice quality and durable, easy to attack to all my chair types. I’m on the fence of the umbrella, but I ordered this for the piece more than the umbrella. I have an umbrella that I’m not confident will stand well on its own, and this would be a nice midway anchor to secure it from being blown over/away. I don’t really think this umbrella can handle beach wind… maybe pool or lake or sport activities, but I’m just not confident it’s strong enough. However, it is a decent umbrella. It looks to have really great sun protection so it’s definitely useful, just maybe these two pieces are separately useful for me. If either give any surprises I’ll come back to edit the review.

My vacation resort of choice recently took away all the umbrellas in the pool areas. As much as I love the Florida sun, we all need a break at some point. As I was roaming the resort I saw that they now sell umbrellas similar to this one but so flimsy. Setting off to Amazon I found this one that is incredibly sturdy and has an incredible cooling UV covering on the inside. I like not only that this umbrella is incredibly cool but it’s two pieces offering the flexibility of just using the umbrella piece, and then with the joint piece you can angle it however you desire.

Excellent chair umbrella and clamp! We’ve had similar items in the past, but they’ve never lasted very long. This clamp is designed differently and is very heavy-duty, yet has nice thick rubber pads to protect your chair or item you are clamping it to.This clamps easily to our folding camp chairs and the sun umbrella is a nice quality lined umbrella, cutting UVrays. We appreciate this as seniors, as we never know when we’re going to come across a scenic outlook and pull over and enjoy the view. And I believe this will clamp on our kayaks nicely too!
