Works as intended...for now. Dielectric grease could be a nice give with everything else included, if its not to much to ask for.

I really appreciated YouTube videos on how to install these, and it isn’t as difficult as it seemed at first. You need a T30 driver (mine was in a fold-up Elkind model) to remove the coil bar, a 5/8” or 16mm deep socket with extension and rachet handle to remove and install the Iridium plugs. You don’t gap these plugs. Buick says you don’t need dielectric grease at the top, nor any anti-seize grease on the threads. You don’t really need a torque wrench either, just feel the force you need to remove each screw or plug and apply that same force to tighten the replacements. I used my leaf blower and a detailing brush to clear out any rust or debris around the plugs once the original coil bar was removed. Then you remove each plug and replace it. A magnetic pickup tool is useful but not necessary. You pop the new coil bar in place over the plugs, and attach the T30 (torx) screws. The lock on the electrical connection to the bar is a bit fiddly, but that’s Buick’s choice for the harness. Easy job, done in under an hour for sure. The aha moment is removing the plastic cover over the coil-bar to start, pull up on the front, hinge the front up and pop off the back. Oh, now you see what needs to be done! I used a $20 code reader to reset the check engine light. The bucking bronco is tamed for under $75. Yay!

Bought this for my son-in-law's car to help him out. If was the permit fit worked well and went in very easy, also came with 4 new spark plus. Price was very reasonable. Recommend it to anyone who wants to save money and can do it themselves.

First off, this coil pack appears very well made from quality materials. The motor operates perfectly with the replacement coil pack. Much confusion surrounds getting the correct replacement coil pack for the 1.4 L4 Turbo. This motor was used for more than a decade in a variety of GM compact and sub compact cars. By 2016 there were two distinct versions of the same motor. The long standing 1.4 L4 Turbo with multiport fuel injection generating 136 HP and the 1.4 L4 with direct fuel injection generating 153 HP. We have a 2016 Cruze Sport LTX and a 2018 Encore Essence both of which have the 153 HP version of the 1.4. The Amazon vendor provides OEM part numbers that you are encouraged to check before ordering to see if the coil pack they are selling will fit your particular car. Just look on the top of your existing GM OEM Delphi factory part. Near the wiring connector you will see the part numbers. Mine was 19005362 which was one of the vendors "perfect match" numbers. The truth is that numbers can be problematic. If you are uncertain if this coil pack will fit your car, or cannot find a number because an aftermarket coil pack is already in the car just take 5 minutes to unplug the wiring connector and pry the coil pack out with a trim took after removing the two torx head bolts that secure it. Just compare the coil visually to the photo of the one on Amazon. The other coil used in these 1.4 turbo engines has much longer rubber boots for the spark plugs and the boots are a different shape at the end. If your coil pack looks the same as the one in the picture in the vendors ad, you will be good to go. I already have brand new AC Delco spark plugs in the motor so I will not be installing the new ones that came with the coil at this time. I did however, examine the spark plugs and they look great.
