I wanted these to cut out sheets of bees wax, which I would then put the cutout pieces on a beeswax candles. They are super tiny, which worked perfectly. However, they were a pain to use to cut out the wax because they were so small. They cut out great, especially if you put a little oil, oil spray on the cookies cutters first. I would definite use these again but I was making these candles with kids so I'd cut the shapes out ahead of time.

These are awesome little clay cutters but there's definitely a learning curve. You have to roll out your clay to about 1mm thickness which is very thin. If you try to use just one stamping motion to cut with these, the clay will probably get stuck, even with cornstarch. You need to gently press and gently wiggle, release, place the cutter in the exact spot again, gently press and wiggle, and repeat this until the shape comes loose on its own or you can cut it out easily. I also brush the cutters lightly with cornstarch and dust a little cornstarch on both sides of the clay. This works even on the more complex shapes. It takes some practice but I'm getting consistently good results doing it this way.

Love these but they are really hard to get out of the molds without the clay being wrecked, and when I roll the clay thinner it’s even hard to lift them without them getting wrecked. I’m going to try just cutting them and baking them right away.

I love how tiny these are. I make 1:16 scale miniatures and these are the perfect size. I included a pic of my first batch of Sculpey polymer clay cookies. They’re not perfect but it was my first attempt at making food out of polymer clay.I had success with the following:I rolled the clay very thin on the tile I baked them on and then removed the excess off the tile. I used cornstarch on half of them and surprisingly, there wasn’t much sticking on the ones without it.I used a paint brush handle to poke out the few that were stuck in the cutters.I also tried rolling the clay between two pieces of plastic wrap and then used the cutters on top of the plastic wrap. It worked! I will probably use this technique if I make macarons because the edges are a little ragged (in a good way!).I’m going to make regular size cookies in the same shapes so I can see them side by side. I’m easily amused.

so small & held the clay too well, so were difficult to use. Hard to get the clay out w/o destroying the mold. Wouldn't buy them again, but still trying to find a way to use them successfully
