Provided long lengths than big brand home stores which is great for non-standard doors. Product is great quality and fits perfectly in door frames with kerf. Easy to install and seals door well with noticeable reduction in draft and outside noise. Recommend.

This weatherstripping is oversized a bit and will be very visible in an industry standard 1/2" rabbet.

Perfect fit for my French doors. The cat messed up the old ones and this worked great.

I replaced a 50-year-old seal that had become brittle and was crumbling. This was easy to install. I used a hammer and a piece of wood (a paint stirrer which I broke several times) to tap it into the groove (ensure you have that groove before you buy). It can be cut with regular scissors, so after measuring, give yourself an extra half inch. Work from top to bottom for the vertical and trim the excess off when you're almost at the end. This is not essential, but, for the vertical strip near the hinges, because it opened only to 90 degrees, I removed the door to have room to better tap it in. Time will tell whether it is durable.

Good quality product at a reasonable price. No damage in transit. Installation was good. Fit like the old stuff. No air leaks. One quality thing. Only 39’ 2” on the roll. Not 40’ as advertised. Fortunately, I did not need the last 10” but I paid for it. Just bothers me.

When I first opened the package, I was filled with a sense of purpose. Weather stripping! My drafty doors and windows didn’t stand a chance. Or so I thought. The instructions were simple enough—or would have been, had the second half not mysteriously disappeared into the void. (Apparently, the packaging said “1 of 2, do not separate,” but I didn’t see it until I had already committed to the separation.) No matter! I am a modern problem solver. Surely, I could figure this out. What followed can only be described as a three-act drama:Act I: Discovery.I unrolled the stripping, marveling at its spongy promise. It was like the duct tape of weatherproofing: flexible, versatile, and oddly sticky.Act II: Confusion.I began applying it… somewhere. The adhesive side fought valiantly against its backing, and once victorious, clung mercilessly to anything nearby. My hands? Yes. My cat? Unfortunately. The doorframe? Occasionally.Without part 2 of the instructions, I had to make some educated guesses. By the end, my windows were sealed, my door frame was cushioned, and my soul was thoroughly humbled. Did I also accidentally weatherproof my own sock to the floor? Yes. Yes, I did.Act III: Acceptance.Once installed (or at least stuck in several places), it worked surprisingly well! Drafts were blocked, and my house felt cozy for the first time in ages. Sure, the process was chaotic, but isn’t that just life sometimes?Overall, this weather stripping gets a solid 5 stars for effectiveness, durability, and the opportunity to grow as a person. However, if you’re missing part 2, consider calling in a professional—or at least hiding the cat.Bonus Tip: Double-check your packaging before separating parts. Some mysteries are better left unsolved.

Perfect fit! So I decided one day that I was going to replace all my doors weather stripping. And didn’t know there were different sizing and materials. So I bought 2 other types before finally deciding to try to match what I pulled off. I bought 2 different foam sizes that didn’t fill the gaps. As you can see in pictures with light around the door that was 2 sizes of foam together and it still didn’t fill the gap. My old weather stripping was scratched up by my dog. So one day I just ripped all the doors stripping out. Some wouldn’t close and some weren’t big enough. I was worried when I finally bought this because I doing know the size I ripped out. But I remember it looked like this!Well this one fits perfectly. There is no adhesive like the foam but that’s ok because it’s slides into the “kerf” which I had to Google that word. And not all my doors have a kerf. But my back door was killing my with the sun coming through and the heat and everything else that comes with a gap.The durability on this stuff is great! Nice and firm. Worked well with my kerf just pushed it on it and slid my hand down to make sure it went in. And I tell you it’s night and day the difference. I don’t hear the dogs barking or kids playing. The air is cool in my kitchen. No bugs coming through. And it’s easy to remove and replace. Easy to cut with simple scissors. I think I used my kids school scissors. The shipping was next day. And I’m happy! Just buy this. It should fit if you pulled out one like it. My door closes fitted doesn’t slam. The dogs can’t just push it open when it’s unlocked. I feel like I got a new back door!
