Started binding books and these are perfect! Definitely gonna want a cutting mat and a good knife because they are thick and sturdy!

This thickness of chip board is difficult to find in hobby stores. It's perfect for projects that require a much heavier, thicker board. And the size is more convenient for storage than the 20x30 inch or larger poster size. I would purchase it again. I placed the order on a Saturday afternoon, got the package the next MORNING!-Mark

Love this chipboard so far. It has a really nice thickness and weight, it's perfect for doing Paperback to Hardcover book rebinds.Glue and bookcloth adhere very well to it, and I don't notice any warping at all once my book end pages are glued in.I would suggest cutting this board with a utility knive versus an X-acto knive though, since it is so thick. I found I had to go over my line 6-8 times with an X-acto knife but with a utility knife it was only 4-5 passes of the blade. Plus my hand wasn't nearly as sore after using a utility knife to cut it instead.I'm estimating I will be able to get about 18 books out of this 20 pack of chipboard. I'm able to get 2 covers (1 front & 1 back) out of one board and I set aside 2 boards just for cutting out the spine boards for my thicker books. This chipboard is an excellent option for anyone looking to start book binding. And at only about $1 per sheet, it's definitely a good value. Highly reccomend!(8.5 x 11 In, 0.086'' Thick)

I use these to make a firm foundation for my computer bags and purses. The exterior is inner tubes which is heavy and saggy for a bag. I glued these boards to the inside, between the lining and exterior and it makes a very professional design.

I was looking for thick, sturdy book board so that I could hand make some journals and I was struggling to find the right sizes and prices. But this stuff is perfect and exactly what I needed. They’re thick, dense, and sturdy but I’m still able to cut them to shape. If you need a tangible visual, think of the cardboard backing used in folding 3-ring school binders.
