This is a far better grill brush than I ever used. There are few instructions to pay attention to, such as making sure it’s wet, not using it over certain temperature, etc. overall, it cleans the grill far better than any other cleaner I used. It is also easy to clean up afterwards in the dishwasher.

I use this on my weber gas grill. I was hoping I could use this on my smoker, but I'd have to get the temp up higher than I usually do for a cook - totally doable if I feel like it but not that useful at 225.The scraper surfaces all work well and you have a few options for getting all the bits mechanically scraped. Since there are no metal bristles, it is very safe from the perspective of not getting a bristle stuck in your throat! For a full clean you need to get the temperature within the proscribed range then get the head wet. Once you do that, it's a nice easy clean and does a good job. I was kind of hoping I'd be able to use the kevlar head on a cold grate or without water, but that's apparently not how it works.Overall it's really well designed, well documented, and a quality product that's safe to use.

Our last grill session before cold weather did not get cleaned, so test run with this new brush had its work cut out. I watched the video and did just as suggested. Functionality was excellent, scrapers scraped, and steaming brush steamed and cleaned. The grip is a good size, and the brush seems very durable. I like the look of it as well. This brush is replacing our old wire brush, which are now shown to be possible not safe; this is a safer alternative and gets the job done.

Love this pad-type grill cleaning tool … Wish I had bought one sooner. It works sooo well with this technique. While the grill is really hot and even with burners still on, I submerge the pad in a bowl or pan of clean water then transfer it to the grill and rub the dirty spots. The hot steam really takes the food particles right off the grated surface. If needed you can flip the pad on its side and use the shaped metal scrapers to get to particles on the sides of the grates.Too soon to tell how long the cleaning pad will last but I sure like how it works now.

I have a nonstick griddle top on my grill currently and wanted a tool to keep it clean it without a wire brush. This is a very heavy duty, high quality tool. The fabric works great to scrub the surface. I dip it in a little water and put it straight on the hot griddle. It is a little wide for some of the tight back corners around the grease trap. When I tried to scrub the side wall. The metal blade on the back put some deep scratches in the side. I may look at removing those blades since I'm not using them.It is expensive, but I like that the pieces are replaceable so this will be a long lasting tool.

This works well for the most part. The tricky part is really getting your grill heated up without being too hot so you don't damage the brush. I'm not sure about you, but I've never had a temperature gauge in the top lid of my grill ever be accurate lol so what I did is turned on the grill on high. Let it get super hot and then turned it off. I left it there for about 20 minutes and came back with a laser thermometer and pointed at the greats. That was just below the temperature that it was needed, and it worked really well. Now keep in mind migrates are pretty clean in the first place anyways because I always brush them before and after cooking. But with the additional power of the steam that's generated from this and the brushing in between not only did it scrape things off like normal glue brushes too, but it actually cleaned it. So my stainless steel bars are nice and shiny again. That could be a good thing or a bad thing lol

I use my grill consistently year round so having a good grill scrapper is critical for me. I had one I liked but it was time for replacement and wanting to get away from the wire ones I found this one intriguing but was a little skeptical. I was so surprised when this exceeded my expectations. It's really solidly built and the different scraper options work together so well to thoroughly clean the grill with ease.I usually turn the grill up after removing the food to make it easier to clean up after eating. luckily last time I used it, it was in the middle of a frigid cold spell and I just didn't want to go back out after and clean it so I just shut it off and decided I'd do it next time after it heated up since cleaning a cold grill never really works well. I was surprised when the directions for this one said to start by scraping the cold grill but the 3 separate stainless scrapers are pretty heavy duty and shaped just right that they made quick work of the left over mess with little elbow grease required. I followed up with the soaked sponge once the grill heated to 300 as directed and with no effort it worked perfectly to steam them the rest of the way clean. I really was amazed at what a good job it did and how easy it was.The Kevlar material on the sponge feels durable and it's sewn to together well. It seems like it should hold up and the sponge itself is nice and thick and once soaked it glides right over the heated grill steaming as it does. The twist off mechanism makes it easy to pop it off to clean. I've cleaned a lot of grills and used a lot of scrapers but so far this one beats them all.

This item claims to use steam to clean grill grates or steel griddle cooking surfaces without scratching them because it is this new 'wire-brush-free' method. They got the 'doesn't scratch' part right. And frankly, I was sooo looking forward to using these with water with the idea that the steam would loosen up the crusty coatings that my griddle or grill accumulates during the cooking process. I was soooo disappointed when it didn't really work. (Somehow, I kinda felt that this was one of those, 'too-good-to-be-true' things...). Anyway, they don't scratch. I use these after the wire brush to get some of the small chunks of material off the grill, but otherwise, they are not really worth keeping in my BBQ tool aresenal.
