Second one I have bought for two different griddles and happy with the product. Works just as good as the original.

Great upgrade to the rubber igniter that wore out. Using on a Blackstone 4 burner grill. This one works so much better and looks to last.

After my original igniter stopped working, I went through several cooks where I lifted the (very heavy) cooktop to use a Scripto lighter to ignite the burners. It worked, but was annoying. After doing a bit of homework, I came across this part and figured it would work. However, it sat on a shelf for a couple of months because I could not see how I got the old one off. I was looking for something to unscrew and, big secret, that is not even needed to swap out the igniter switch. The igniter probes will take a bit more work, but swapping out the igniter box did the trick for me and is super simple. Twist off the knob, remove the battery, and loosen and remove the retainer ring. The box can then be freed from behind where it is still attached to the igniter probes and housed in a metal shield. With the box freed, move over each wire one at a time, replace the metal housing, and push it back through the hole. Once you rever the steps you took to remove it, put in a battery and give it a try. In my case, I could see and hear the electrical arcs from each of the original probes so I did not need to replace those. It took all of 10 minutes and I hate that I put it off so long.
