Arrived on time as always. Sounded great. I identified the key as basically Db and I labeled it as such...Once this is done, these instruments can be incorporated with other more common instruments. I wish uncommon instruments were integrated more with the mainstream ones. The Beatles did it all the time. Zappa did it especially with percussion. Odd percussion and odd instruments combined with the more accepted ones could be the foundation for all kinds of new music.

I got this item on a whim and Im really happy with it. I create sfx for games and I've already used this a couple times for item pickups and such. The tone of any individual key on the instrument is pretty dull but there are a couple good sweet spots on the higher keys that have allowed me to use it more like a temple block in some music tracks.

I purchased this for a preschool classroom. The children love to play it--using the mallet round and round on the inside or on each piece along the outside. The sound is soft and beautiful. Even the most rambunctious child can't make it annoying! But the slats do tend to come off with our heavy use.

This stir xylophone is great. Good quality and reasonably priced when compared to others I priced!

Hi! This is a fun musical item- the sound is very unique and even though I bought it for my kids, adults like to try it out as well. A simple wood instrument, yet it makes interesting & complex sounds. Sounds like a video game when you go in a fast circle with the mallet inside it. Neat~! ~Sarah Gallo Becker
