Coating, color and wire thickness is good. Using as keychain and well pleased. 6" size is good if carrying a lot of keys, fobs, etc. Initially ordered the 4" size which I found to be a little short.

Update: the seller reached out through Amazon after I posted this (without any direct contact from me) and offered a full refund, stating very clearly that I was NOT expected to change my review, which shows they go out of their way to back up their product - admirable. I'm revising my review anyway, under absolutely no duress. They also included in their communication with me a little tip that, when I expanded on that tip, makes it a lot easier to use these. It's still a bit of a pain (though no worse than trying to use a normal, split-ring keyring), but if these instructions were printed on the package it would avoid many of the problems I and others had with this product. Here are the full instructions I wrote and, in thanks for how they dealt with this, CrocSee / Bayite are free to print them on their packages or webpage if they wish:1. With fingers and/or pliers, bend the two ends to the center and flatten both as much as possible. They won't stay that way, but it takes some of the fight out of them and makes the following steps easier if you do this first.2. Hold the small end bent almost flat with your right hand (left if you're lefty, I assume).3. Squeeze the large end (with the turnbuckle) down and just hook it onto the small end.4. Holding the small end (with the large end hooked on to it) as flat as possible, screw on the turnbuckle with your other hand. This also works for unscrewing the turnbuckle as well. I found it helpful to brace it against my belly while doing this.Once you've got it attached, it is not going to let go, and looks to last a very long time. If it's a key, such as a car keyfob, that you might want to release from time to time, it helps to hook it into a small carabiner or other quick release gizmo. Why not just use the quick release gizmo by itself? Because in my case, it wouldn't go through the hole on the keyfob, or many of my my other keys.Original review (1 star): I found it impossible to close these, even using tools, and I got numerous little metal shards as splinters in my fingers for my trouble.

Excellent little key rings. Slightly difficult to bend onto a circle and tighten but once it starts to thread your good to go.

These work well because you can leave it small,or make it bigger by connecting the key rings

Great little locking cables, adds to my key chain and I know they won’t come undone.

I bought these to use as key ring alternatives, and they are OK for that purpose -- easier to remove or add keys compared to the traditional rings -- no broken fingernails. When I first got these, it was a little tricky to bend the 3-inch straight wire into a 1.5 inch oval shape and twist the fastener; it took some strength and coordination (but still much easier than traditional keyrings). I am having difficulty unfastening the twist-fastener, which I would need to do if adding more keys. I assume my husband can handle it. I reacted by coming back to Amazon and ordering a 6-inch length version by CooBigo, similar to this. The longer-length wire is easier to handle and the twisty closure works better.
