This set is fantastic!!! They really thought of everything, and the instructions are so clear. I tried a different wine preserver previously and it was an utter failure. All the pieces in this set (aerator, foil cutter, corkscrew, and vacuum preserver) worked flawlessly and easily. Prior to ordering, I didn't see the battery specifications listed. I'm glad I had the required ones on hand. The wine opener requires 4 AA-batteries, and the wine preserver requires 2 AAA-batteries.

Have had a few of these cheaper wine openers and all have been pretty bad, even much more expensive ones.This one was very surprising at how well it works!Most are 4 batteries connected to be 6v, this makes them faster but no torque to open many bottles without help.This one is wired to be 3v but twice the current that allows more torque but at lower speed. This works much better!It also comes with a vacuum stopper. It works automatic. Just push it down once and it runs a timed amount to make a vacuum sealed closure. It holds really well and better than other manual ones we have tried.Really happy with this one and would buy again!

I’m kind of a klutz opening wine bottles. I angle the corkscrew to the side and ruin the cork, or pull too hard and spill the wine when the cork release surprises me.I can’t really call this gadget a necessity, but it does smooth out the kinks in my bartending. More than its corkscrew capabilities, though, I like the vacuum cap for saving the remainder of the wine. The device sucks the air (or most of it) out of the bottle you are saving for later and seals the top. This allows you a few more days of storage over just recorking.It also comes with a foil cutter and a pour spout, but, inexplicably, no batteries. There really is no excuse for that.It uses quite a few - 4 double A’s and two triple A’s, so stock up beforehand if you intend to use this at a party.

It works fine for a year and.it start to have problem.I came across this one and give it a try.This one is different with the others that it includes electric vacuum stoppers. The one that I use before is only manual pump vacuum stopper. So this addition by itself is a very nice to have.It also comes with foil cutter and wine pourer.It needs 4 AA battery for the opener and AAA batteries for the vacuum stoppers.So far so good. Time will tell how long it gonna last.

I got this for my daughter who has alot of wine bottles but uses the old fashioned cork screw. The last time I was over at her place and we drank wine I mentioned getting an electric one. I decided to get it myself and she loves it. Makes opening so easy!!
