Purchased this April 2023 installed it June 2023 charged it twice. Will not charge again on further inspection battery is so swollen it started separating the case. Straight up garbage at least it did not burst into flames in my console…

I need to replace the battery on my sons 3DS, I purchased this one because I didn’t want to purchase a tiny screwdriver separately. The screwdriver is incredibly flimsy and bent immediately as I put it to the screw before even applying any pressure or twisting. I’m not sure if the battery even works, I have to find a tiny screwdriver to purchase and wait for it to arrive. I could’ve spent less money to buy one without it, and now I’m spending even more. Just do yourself a favor and don’t buy this one if you’re wanting it because of The screwdriver, you’ll probably have to order one anyway. 😭

Just installed it, so can’t yet be sure of lifetime but this battery just took a few minutes to install in a Nintendo Switch pro controller. It turned on and seems to work well.The screwdriver is too small to get enough torque on the screws, but had a larger one on hand so that wasn’t much or an issue for me.
