Really works good. I like the fact that you don’t have to shut it off to stop the flow. All you do is is close the handle well-made not too heavy nice tool.

Pros:Puts out a lot of product (which can be controlled)Works well out of the packageLots of tips, and almost not necessaryBattery lasts a long timeWorks with existing Makita batteriesNo leaksStorage area for extra parts is niceCons:Feels cheap and time will tell if it holds up, but hasn't leaked. No clear fill line on the outside to see how much product is insideThe cover for the battery isn't the best design; It's a little cumbersome to access.Overall:Worth it! Pros outweigh the cons. Better than my old 4 gallon Chapin 20v that uses the black & decker battery and dare I say almost better than my 4 gallon makita backpack sprayer? For the price, yes. The makita 4 gallon sprayer is better built and easier to see product, but if this one doesn't leak and lasts years, its a winner.

The unit arrived quickly, looked great, lots of nozzles, used the battery platform I use, nice size, easy to assemble, easy to use controls for pressure. But it unfortunately only lasted for 3 tanks of bug spray. About halfway through the third tank of bug spray the connector that lets you adjust the length of the wand started leaking. I tightened it up by hand and it leaked worse. I lowered the pressure still leaked. Took connector apart, nothing damaged, put it back together still leaking. Now the spray head to wand connector is leaking too. Finished the spraying and cleaned everything with water and tested a new spray head. Everything still leaking. Dumped out the water and boxed it up and returned it. Unfortunate that the spray wand was the problem the rest of the unit was good.

First off, when unpacking, there are two caps on top of the sprayer. One is a little storage compartment, great for storing the extra included tips. The other larger cap, is where you'll add your product and water to the reservoir and it includes a filter. Unscrew that larger cap first and that's where you'll find everything you need for the sprayer, during your initial unpacking. The battery came mostly charged, but I topped it off while setting up the wand and washing out the tank for first use (battery was a bit stubborn to remove). The shoulder straps are not the best, but I didn't find them too uncomfortable. One buckle did slide loose and I had to readjust to reset the strap. The unit is surprisingly a lighter weight than I expected. Which is a huge bonus when filled with water/product.Its difficult to tell how gallons are in the sprayer. So, I grabbed a gallon jug and added water, 1 gallon at a time, then marked on the side of the unit where it filled to (one side does have liter markings). Do this in an area that is well lit and you can see the water line. I used a permanent marker to indicate the increments and then took a knife and etched those markings (for when they eventually wear off).So far, I've only used two of the tips, the average looking stream spray and the fan tip. Still trying to get the right set up for a more concentrated precise spray for eliminating particular weeds in a targeted effort. But, the fan spray was great for applying general coverage to an area. I have an acre of property and this backpack sprayer is going to save a LOT of time and effort as opposed to a little 2 gallon hand held sprayer or a manual 5 gallon backpack sprayer. I was impressed with how quickly I went through 2 gallons on my side yard. There are pros and cons to this unit. For the price, it was worth finding out if this sprayer will hold up over time. There are manual backpack sprayers more expensive than this one, that are more basic and more labor intensive. FWIW, I own a Makita hand held blower and its 18v 3.0ah battery fits and works in this sprayer. So, the fact that the included batter and charger doesn't seem to be high quality concerns me less, since I have a back up option.I've only sprayed a few times, but so far so good. I'm very pleased. Will update if I run into any issues.

This sprayer is everything they say it is and then some. I just received mine, one small part was missing, email seller, problem solved.PROS:3.5 Gal is perfect for my needs, this one with all the feature of larger units, not stripped down because it's smallerWell engineered with all the small details thought of.Storage compartment for all of the spray nozzles in the sprayer, a BIG plus!Pressure adjustment really changes the flow rate nicelyPopular Makita battery can be upgraded 3rd party very inexpensively, if neededGallon measurements on one side, liters on the other, no having to mark the tank for US use.Good selection of spray nozzles with nice metal telescoping wand, not plastic and NO LEAKS. Clips on side of tank.Several extra fitting gaskets if one should be lost. Very nice!Comfortable straps. Didn't even know I had it on.Bright Safety Green if working around others with mowers, traffic etc.CONS:Shipping time: Apparently a new company with Amazon. I live in Florida, the bug capitol of the USA. There are none of these units in stock in Florida. Mine was shipped out of Maryland. Allow time if you need one tomorrow, but it's worth the wait.Would like to have seen an adjustable nozzle to avoid so many nozzle changes. A finer tip for weed spraying in rocks is needed. However for the price of this unit, I will order one 3rd party. The instructions are "follow the pictures." instructions. The one missing is the tanks prayer clip that attaches to the left side of the sprayer.Overall a 5+ and would highly recommend this unit for the price, it can't be beat.
