Q1. Why battery connector does not fit?
A1: Please check if you have bought and received wrong model battery, this battery is only for Flip 4, Flip 4 Special Edition, GSP872693 01 battery. Check the model number on the back of your Speaker.
Q2. Why Speaker can’t turn on?
A2: Make sure battery connector was connected correctly and charge flip 4 speaker battery for 15 minutes with original charger and cable. The charging needs to be charged to 5% before it can be turned on normally, If battery have exhausted battery power.
Q3. Why battery won’t charge?
A3: Maybe bad connect. Reopen your speaker and reconnect the battery connector to logic board socket. Make sure battery connector connects well.

Battery seems find but getting the old one out you have to be very creative especially if it’s swollen

I have to say taking this speaker apart and replacing the battery is a terrible process. Lots of tiny, multi-sized screws to deal with, and the pain in the butt removal of the old battery makes this one tough job. Why can't they just make a door on the side where the battery lives and is easily accessible? My guess it's profit driven. Anyway, I had to take a butter knife and work around the bloated, stuck battery for about 15 minutes before I could wiggle the battery side by side by the power cord and it eventually slid out. The new battery is now smaller than the battery compartment because of the bloated battery so I had to wrap the new battery in tape until it fit snug. Otherwise, the battery will rattle when the speaker plays. After all this and two lost screws later the speaker is working and charging fine. The new battery is stated as 5500mAh (always overstated) and the old was 3000mAh so hopefully it lasts a little longer between charges. A good buy if you want to deal with the process of replacement.
