Charger stopped charging after 2 months

I've had this product for about 3 months, and it is already unusable. For the first month or so, it seemed to work fine, but then the charge time just started getting shorter and shorter. For the last two weeks, I rarely made it more than a day (which was how long my iPhone could last, so apparently, the battery wasn't holding a charge at all. Today, it overheated in my pocket...but luckily, my phone still seems to be working. Anyway, this last incident means I can't trust the case to protect my phone anymore.The case itself does a good job in protecting the phone from falls, but I bought it for both protection as well as the convenience of a battery pack to keep working a long time.

I am very happy with this battery back up case, I turn it on when my battery is down to about 30 or 40% and within 20 or 25 minutes it has returned my phone battery to full power.

Worked great for about 18 months and then wouldn’t maintain a charge. Not sure if it’s within the life expectancy or not.
