I like the size of this. Any larger & I'd have leftover sauce. Some may like the XL though. It's a decent quality one. The stainless steel makes it so easy to clean after. The lid & brush set-up really protects your hand from sizzle spatter. Didn't realize what I've endured till using this. The brush head is silicone & is not like my tighter designed kitchen brush head. It's loose enough to really slop the sause on. I like that alot. Can coat the meats good. The lid is great for keeping the flies out. Super glad for that. The folded handles give me the option of simply gripping the basting container or opening the handles to use.Overall it's a great addition to summer grilling & I recommend it. Decent price as well.

If grilling is an art, then this basting brush and sauce pot set is my new favorite paintbrush. This thing is professional-grade. We’re talking XL pot that holds enough sauce to glaze a brisket, a rack of ribs, and probably my neighbor’s dinner too.The long handle on the brush is adjustable, which means no more accidental arm hair singeing while reaching across a sizzling smoker. And the bristles? They hold sauce like they’ve got a grudge against dry meat.Solid stainless steel, easy to clean, and it doesn’t feel like a toy—this setup means business. I’ve used it on everything from chicken thighs to a 12-hour smoked pork shoulder, and it performs like a champ every time.Honestly, the only thing missing is a built-in fan to blow away the smoke while I admire my work. But hey, we can’t have it all.Highly recommend for anyone serious about their ‘cue.

Very nice basting brush set for your outdoor grill or griddle. There are no instructions included, but assembly is pretty basic - slide the handle into the lid, add and o-ring to the handle to keep the lid in the right position (so that the basting brush stays in the sauce, but isn't so "long" that the lid won't settle on the pot), and add the brush to the handle. Haven't tried it in action, but ... keeping the flies OUT and the sauce WARM is a definite improvement to my grilling collection.

Nice gauge steel, and a perfect size. The silicone brush is nice, but the pot and lid are my favorite. The handle folds up for easy storage and even though I got this for use inside the house, I can see where this would be great for grilling.

The metal of these pots is thin and light. I think the large size is probably good for most use cases, but getting the extra large would allow for moving it around while minimizing the risk of spilling / splashing hot liquids. With the metal being so thin, the contents would quickly scorch if put on too hot of a surface and the brushes are too flimsy for thicker sauces (e.g., bbq). Speaking of the brushes, they smell like rubber and I think they'd melt in an instant if accidentally dropped on a hot surface (I wouldn't even trust putting on hot chicken to be honest). I would happily use this pot for melting butter, but otherwise I'm not sure it's a good value given the price.

This holds more than enough, and the lid/handle design are handy. Compared to the smaller model this sits much flatter, although it still wobbles slightly.

Decent size sauce pot holds good amount of marinade sauce. Container is easy to hold. Lid fits well and keeps sauce covered from pesky bugs and flies. Basting brush works well with lid. Makes outdoor grilling much easier. Set is also easy to clean.
