I got the mediums because there are several different people using, and they still fit my big man hands but just a bit tight, not enough to keep me from using them. No dust or funny smells, just good gloves. They're probably a little more durable than you'd expect in most situations, but less in others... for instance, wore these cleaning around the house for 4hrs, not a single hole, stepped outside to talk to my neighbor and leaned on the fence, ripped the palm open. If you have realistic expectations for these gloves, you'll have no regrets with this purchase.
