The product fit perfectly i my Tesla M3 AWD but when the trunk closes the cap on the trunk from Tesla comes off and remains on bottom on top of the latch. Not sure if I should remove this or if it should work with it on and I need to glue it. Please let me know if anyone has an idea.

This is made of nice rubbery material, not the hard type material that can be too stiff. The installation was pretty easy and the fit is perfect. The trunk has carpet that constantly is getting dirty. This cover takes care of that and takes the concern away that you could tear the carpet if trying to slide something into the trunk that might snag. Very good upgrade.

I don’t know why Tesla didn’t add this just like any other car manufacturers but it fits perfectly! No fuzz and no buzz, just straight business fro Basenor!

This is a must-have accessory for people that use their trunk ... yeah, everyone. It's usually standard on most cars of this price range, but I can see that Tesla has been looking for ways to cut costs. And trim pieces were some of the items eliminated. If you plan to keep your car for a while, and like to keep areas from getting more wear than usual, this should be a must-have. I like the design, including the more wrap-around of TPE for the door latch. I have purchased other Basenor products. However, unlike other mfg designs, it's a little odd that they want you to put on the Velcro yourself. It makes it look like it was an oversight, and added them after the fact because it became an issue without them, and to be competitive with other designs. For that, I will probably go with another mfg's product, that essentially offers the same function as this one (i.e., sturdy/strong protective material choice, and longer piece that goes below the lower trunk compartment lid - and to a natural trim break line). But the other one was slightly cheaper and had strong Velcro strips pre-installed by the mfg and was securely glued down and won't lift off. I will probably be returning this one for a refund.

This adds protection to the OEM fabric along the bottom of the trunk opening. If you frequently slide things into your trunk this will be a needed accessory. Some tips to the installation. It comes folded in half. To get the fold out, set it outside in the sun for a couple of hours, then install it in the trunk WITHOUT the velcro strapping. Leave it there for a few days to get is to shape itself to the edge. Then, remove it and install the velcro strapping. Now secure it, again to the edge. I recommend this product.
