I forgot to write this review but my title says it all. My kids love them (me too). They're on the heavier side so, coming out of the pitching machine can be intimidating at first. One crack at these balls and you'll be hooked for sure. The quality of the balls are heavy duty and the value is on point. While the balls are on the harder side, they provide a more fun and realistic feel. You will not be disappointed as their performance will meet your batting practice needs.

This is the 3rd set of this type of ball that I've purchased...but the 2nd time purchasing from this brand. Originally I bought a set from an alternative brand. The balls in this set are a bit lighter (less dense) than the original set I bought...BUT...as a result, my sling machine whips these out FASTER.Using a Black Flame sling machine... I estimate that on the fastest setting for this machine (#12) that these balls come out at approx 45-50 mph (closer to 50 mph I think - on a line w/ little to no arc). I estimate that the original set I purchased (slightly heavier & denser balls) clock in around 40-45 mph - but maybe closer to 40 mph (w/ noticeable arc).I still use both sets of balls to vary up the offering but if you're using a similar machine (blue/black flame) - and extra speed is desired...this is a GREAT option. Hope this helps someone :0)
